Beats By Sim Right! These days they make it seem like if you ain’t finished in five mins, you’re trash. Sometimes I listen to a loop I made for a while and add as I get new inspiration.
UA-camNewsFeed Big Facts man same I can’t do that 10 min cook up if I’m gonna make my best work .. I can but I always feel it can be more , that’s the perfectionist in me 💯
Nobody really cooks up in 5-10 min after the recording process the producer and artist / engineers are there and they add stuff later most of the time we just don’t see that... people very musically inclined like Zay or Torch who have been doing this shit since the 90’s can cook in 10min and it’s done but that’s not common among most people and regardless doesn’t happen every time . We are all creatures creating Vibez and that’s what it’s about that being said I be vibing out like this guy 😎

ProdByLoDivino different skills. A lot of sample based producers can do both and vice versa. Also there’s a lot of both types of producers that are really bad at the other approach. Personally I think it takes a very clever and creative mind to take samples and flip it into something else, and make it as hot or hotter than the original track or tracks. A producer knows how to take a band to the next level. A sample based producer can take the original song and put it in a whole other context, or just simply rearrange everything into something completely unrecognizable.

It's especially crazy cuz this is one of those beats a lot of us would consider one of our throwaways or some shit (based on the way he sequenced his shit with the "string")
Shit crazy, the thing is that if somebody sent that beat for during a producergrind livestream you know people critiquing would be saying “it shuda dropped there it shuda dropped here” and allat, the intros too long, etc. Even if it didn’t go like that most people would think the beat is nothing special, Goes to show you don’t need critiques from anyone, keep doing your thing especially if it’s working for you 💯
Thomas everything was understood. It usually takes him 20-30 minutes to make a beat but since he plays the beat over and over again time extends about 2hours
he knows what hes doing for sure the actual mix of the song removed some cool shit his arrangement was crazy for rapping knows his shit forsure forsure
It's because rap artists sing a lot now. That voice is its own instrument waiting to be added to it. So if you're making beats for rappers that sing the best thing to do is keep it simple and leave room for their instrument (their vocals) to expand and compliment the beat
Ethan you are aware that sniper gang is his brand right? and you can buy anything associated with sniper gang and wear it. That’s how merchandising and branding works.
Lmao that shit from the movie is creative I think it's my fav part of the beat. Good video this is a producer I admire. All the best on your artiste journey again man! That snap is hard! Tell em bro.. Gives you a vibe and bounce
Great video, always keep it simple guys, as producers we tend to «go hard» thinking about impressing people but overproduced beats are not always the best ones

It really blows my mind that a producer can use fruity loops now in 2019 and is taken serious. In 2001 9 out of 10 times you would of been laughed at unless you were making Techno or house. It just goes to show that industry standard is always changing

Only 2 sounds were used, awesome how the big hits are simplistic.
Once you get in with an artist that's major and they fuck with you, no need to make the craziest beats with all kinds of sounds.
Always remember that the voice is the main instrument. Most of the best beats b super simple.
No doubt
