    I've been stumbling over my own feet trying to get my head around Pilot2ATC until I watched a couple of your videos. They are really helpful so thanks for making them.

      Hey! Thanks for that Al. Glad that helped!

      @Al Bundi @@markfletcher4579 I second Al's praise. I'm very new to flight sims (too old to play FPS games any longer!) and this was helpful, educational and entertaining. Thanks and look forward to watching more of your content.

    Hi Mark. This series was just what I was looking for. Very well presented and I enjoyed the "post mortem" following. It also assisted with my decision to purchase this product. Looks like a fun training aid for sure.

    You do a great job repeating back Pilot2ATC instructions. I gave up on that and let the co pilot do it. I figure as I get better at flying the plane my attention can go to getting the exact words correct.

    Nice video. I appreciate the ‘post mortem’ and commentary on problems with Pilot2ATC and the airplane not doing what you expected. Yes, take control and don’t fight the automation. If it isn’t doing what you want, override it! I’ve made many mistakes with automation and learned from those mistakes in hindsight. Always make sure you are in control of the airplane. Thank you for the good videos.

    I enjoyed watching your series over the weekend. I have been using P2ATC for a while, but learned some more from your video. My instrument training has been adhoc and I really benefited from watching you work through your inflight issues and review them at the end. Great job flying first and navigating second. I hope you continue to make more videos.

    Mark, I cannot thank you enough for the series. You definitely explained some things that were eluding me. Just a few days into Pilot2ATC and I have learned A TON! Very much looking forward to watching your other videos. Cheers!

    Thank you Mark for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences using Pilot2ATC. As a relative newbie to P2ATC I found it extremely helpful. Looking forward to more content from you in the future!

    Awesome videos and I like that you debriefed it to learn as you would from a real flight. I noticed ATC kept telling you to squawk the code but they weren't telling you your transponder was on Standby. :(

      Thank you Check6! Yes, P2A takes some getting used to. It took me a while to realize why they kept telling me the transponder code. It's like "Yes I know the squawk code!!"

    Mark thanks again for the video .I have spent many hours trying to get the approaches to work ever time.Once in a while they would work .I couldn’t figure out if it was me,xplane or pilot2atc.Load when told to expect the approach,Activate when cleared.
    What happened to the video of you flying from Ksbn to kord?

      @@markfletcher4579 Appreciate the response. Just hit the subscribe button. Curious if you could share your computer setup? I'm considering a i5-9600K and GTX 1660 GPU. Just building it for IFR practice. I hear AMD for x-plane isn't too good.

    Have you tried this with the xplane cirrus sf50 ?And if so did everything work.Could you do a training video with the jet

    • @markfletcher4579
      @markfletcher4579  4 роки тому

      Hi David. Sorry I don't have that jet. There is no reason why P2A would not work with any plane. All it needs is a radio. What specifically is not working?

    • @davidmullet1030
      @davidmullet1030 4 роки тому

      Mark Fletcher I think it is the g1000 on the approaches procedural turns.Hard to pinpoint.I also have Pilot2atc because xplane radios could be better.I want to take a look at Microsoft flight sim at Oshkosh.

      Hi David,
      Have you looked at this video by Philipp Ringler? He flies the sf50 in that video and does a great job of describing using the g1000:
      ua-cam.com/video/2chCP1XObek/v-deo.html
      Good luck. Sorry I can't help you more. I'm not much of a high performance guy so my input is minimal.

    • @davidmullet1030
      @davidmullet1030 4 роки тому

      Mark Fletcher I have watched his video.This seems to me that the g1000 is not responding to information put into the flight plan or it is not defeating all of the previous flight plan.I will try deleting the old flight plan and then turning off the computer to see if it responds correctly.Now it only fly’s part of the approaches before the system fails to respond to any manual control input.God bless

    Mark please let us know of any fix you might come up with on the gps and file import or sport.I went from kind to Ksbn and got the auto planing on pilot to act exported it to the cirrus g1000.plan went like this .Runway 23 to 1800 feet right turn to heading 037 to join course .There was no course to follow from the first way point.I tried this 4 times same thing no joy.Then on the next try I made the 037 heading toward my first way point fen I got close I activated that leg and it took me all the way no problem with gps or ils approach.please advise if that works for you with other flight plans.

      Hi David. Not sure I'm following you on this but I have not had any issues transferring a flight plan from P2A to the GPS. I always examine the plan carefully inside the gps though to make sure it is reasonable. Sometimes I'm not happy with what it transfers and end up creating the FP from scratch on the GPS to match what P2A has. Hope that helps!

      Mark Fletcher I’ll try that.Have never flown sids or stars in real life.Ill see if the fp looks reasonable and match them .Thanks.
