VERY different stakes. Ned was protecting his nephew's LIFE. Jon/Sansa/Arya is being asked to stay quiet about Jon being the rightful heir to the throne... A huge problem when you have Cersei on the throne and Dany (the half-mad Queen at this point) trying to take over.

She would have killed him just for being called King in the North, let alone the rightful successor to the Targaryan line. And it's not their secret to tell. Jon doesn't want the crown but to spite Dany, they will put him there. Nobody seems to care what he wants.

Varys had too much dialogue in this episode, that means he'll die soon. I know Varys is all about the protecting the realm and I don't blame him for that I also realized that every monarch he gets with he has betrayed every single one of them!
This show/story is built on betrayal and how naive and unskilled people lose to people smarter than them that are willing to betray them so I don’t he’s dying

It's weird how Bran went from an expected main character to a side character. He let down so many people, not me nessessarily but his importance wasn't what everyone thought. Its actually really cool. Not sure if its a show thing vs book thing tho.

Me too!!! I was shocked when Rhaegal was hit, as I was sad that we lost so many people in the last episode, but I was trying to understand why I was so upset with Missandei's death. I always really liked her character, but I think it hit me harder because the other deaths were quick, Missandei was tortured, having to stand there knowing she was going to die … and the fact that Evil Cersei did it … it was too much!!! …. PEACE to ALL.

ned stark was the most honorable of all, but he kept a secret when it mattered, jon snow is just an absolute idiot if he can't keep a secret that will change everything. danny has a point, he never wanted to be lord commander, he never wanted to be the king in the north, he never wanted to be the guy that had to go undercover to mance raider's camp. but things happen. just because he says he doesn't want it, doesn't meant that's exactly what's going to happen.

I don’t know why people are still freaking out over the whole “they’re related” thing. We’ve seen much worse since episode 1. Targaryeans, indeed all the extinct Dragon Lord families of Valyria, married blood relatives. Do t forget Dany, Viserys, and Rheagar are all products of incest. What is incest defined as anyway because Cersei, Jamie and Tyrion’s parents were cousins so they’re technically products of incest too.

You should of guessed arya was gonna say no to that. The line came from season 1 when her father was saying she was gonna be a lady someday and she said no to him saying she never wants to be a lady. I think she wants to be free and do what makes her happy. and not resort to such primitive times of having to become a lady and be there to just have kids for her lord. she will either die in the coming episodes completing her list or be a wandering bounty hunter after. but never a lady.
I feel bad for her, she was super popular among the dothraki but shes not even making an effor tin winterfell. like ya they dont super like you because you were a targaryen but shes saved them all and shes jsut sitting alone, jon and sansa went off and played drinking games with everyone else shes jsut sitting there. Im not a dany hater but ever since she came to westeros shes been doing the right thing for the wrong reasons. Her reasons were just and it made her a good queen across the sea but now, making gendry a lord of storms end was the right move because hes an Honorable man and his father nearly ruined their entire house. He deserves it. Not because she jsut wanted to remove a piece from the board as opposition.

Yea, even though they decided to throw several plot elements and 9 years of character development out the window this season, it’s still enjoyable for some people.
@@davidpace3478 Yeah but season 8 is not even close to the first seasons.. :/ and I used to think this is the best serie of all time, but after this season I give it to Breaking Bad.
Thats what i mean, i loved GoT until Season 5, i was fully invested into the Story and Charakters.
The Red Wedding blew me out of my Chair, i was speechless.
Then Plotholes and dumb Scenes came into the Mix, like Aryas Story, Dorne and so on, and i lost more and more interest.
And the last 2 Episodes killed the rest of love i had for GoT completely.
Like it happened with Lost or Dexter.
You'd be surprised to know that the people who doesn't like it anymore and complain on social media are actually the vast minority.
Its pretty much 50/50 and if People can still enjoy it, thats fine for me, alot of People liked the last Season of Lost or Dexter too.
But you cant tell me that GoT is still as good as in the beginning, thats just denial.

Besides, as seen in the episode, Sansa is a traitor who wants her brother to take a role he doesn't want. So Dany was right to tell Jon to keep the secret, even from his sister.

I feel bad for Dany and I don't like certain aspects of what the writers are doing to her character, but what Tyrion said helped me to think about and understand why she is so upset … how can she not think sitting on the Iron Throne is her destiny when she, as a young girl walks into flames and comes out unburnt and with 3 dragons, as well as so many other events which lead her to believe in herself and her destiny as a Queen. Also, in a short time frame, it had to be unreal and very hard for her to accept that the man she loves is not only her nephew, but the next in line to the throne, then she lost one of her closest advisors and friend, Jorah, and she almost died herself, but stood her ground and fought beside Jorah, she lost almost all of the Dothraki and Unsullied Armies ... and she lost another child, Rhaegal; then to top it off, she had to watch her dear friend and advisor beheaded, Missandai. Really, who can blame her. …. PEACE to ALL.
