May you are a wonderful example of Independence and self sufficiency. Apart from that your videos are so relaxing. This is one of your best videos ever.

Hi May will look at the wonderbag thanks 👍 it looks like your engine is smoking way too much and needs some TLC soonish xx
I Always enjoy seeing the swans and ducks in your videos. And that bag looks really good have a great week
Hi May, I haven’t seen George around lately. Hope he’s okay and you are so much happier when he is around. Keep up the good work love and appreciate Cliff from Logan City, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺
I love the wonderbag idea. I will be buying one. Thanks for the heads up. Camper van life just got better.
Have to say May those locks looked somewhat claustrophobic 😮
Manoeuvred like a true professional, you will have us all canal boating before you know it 😊 👍
It wasn’t too bad, you get used to the small space
Great vlog as usual May ....loving your new adventures travelling farther afield 😁
More to come!
Hi there, been watching your channel for quite a while. While i watched your vid doing the watford locks, i recognized your exhaust gases😢 being blue. This is a hint that your engine is burning oil. Being an old ships engineer, i would highly recommend that you have someone look into it.
Keep up the good life....
Really enjoy your videos,
best regards
Andreas
Ahh, Britain in the summer. Mozzies, midges and horseflies 🤣 Loving the videos May, and have bought a couple of tickets for the raffle (my wife tells me I have no chance of winning. All my luck was used up when I met her)
Hello May, watching from Tucson Arizona USA.
Well done may with all them locks best wishes take care look forward to next week have a lovely weekend 😊😊😊
Love your delivery May. It is soothing.
A Lovely Sunny Vlog May. Love the Wonder bag what a fantastic eco friendly way to cook, and your food looked lush. Ouch those mossy bites looked very itchy, bet they kept you awake at night too. Watford locks were interesting and I’m glad they were manned to take the stress and effort away from you.. Another great production May Well Done and Thank You for sharing. Have a good week and Take Care
Thanks so much 😊 it was a fun day!
Watch nearly everyday. So interesting.. Keep vloggin.
Those 'quitoes really love you. A bit of encouragement from an old man. When i was young I suffered as you are but as I got older they stopped botheringi me. Perhaps you will be bother less as time goes on, too
That OR May needs to hitch up with an old man 😮😮😅😅😅😊😊
Love the bag ! I have a similar thing for camping but way smaller …cheers !
One more fabulous day with May or should that be wonderful day with may. First The Wonder bag then the Watford flight, with each passing mile and day it's clear to see your confidence growing. Ps you could try E45 cream for the mosquito bites or anything with aloe vera in
Oh dearie me May, your poor smoky engine does not seem to be very happy; I wish I could send you some sort of lubricant elixir to pour into the crankcase. Thank you for taking us along on your staircase lock journey.
Could always try some Wynn's injector cleaner. Poor into a full ( or adjust dose accordingly) fuel tank .
Personally I have been advised against Wynn's engine flush for older engines , So Please Use Due Diligence and do not confuse with injector cleaner !
Great results were had with an old JCB 3c MK2 , using quality fuel and injector cleaner ! It certainly minimised Black soot !
Was May boat smoking and what colour ?
15 minutes of pure relaxation and my eyes did not register the exhaust!😊😊
Air filter ,clean /renew !
Fuel filter clean / replace !
The above two can make a lot of difference to keep Chuffing Billy happy !
THANK YOU MAY. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Anthisan cream for the mozzie bites stops the itching !
Hi May try some vinegar or perfume on the gnat bites normally takes the irritation away and perfume does,nt make you smell like a bag of chips.
What a fantastic video May
Cheers 👍🏼🍻🌼
10.20 that is a bit of a serious crack in the wall there
Hi
mosquito bites are the worst have you tried basil essential oil applied to each bite takes the itch out and lets it heal. Hope you feel better soon
Becks xx
Aww thanks Becks, never tried that. Will do next time!
Fellow mozzie bite sufferer here. They usually get infected at least once a year so 14 days of antibiotics always on hand. They are so so irritating so solidarity ❤
Skin So Soft is an excellent midge deterrent. I've used it quite a few times whilst walking/fishing and had only two bites.
May. I can recommend Skin Soft from Avon to repel for the mosquitoes. Great channel so keep up the great work ❤
Sudocrem helps with the itch of mosquitoes bites.
Thanks May, lovely video as usual, hydrocortisone for those mozzy bites stops the itching. Are you missing George?!
10:00 great shot of your beautiful eyes! 😊
You need to eat some marmite, it’s an old trick, people even feed a spoonful to horses who are prone to bites to stop them getting bitten. I eat marmite on toast often and never get bitten! If you like marmite give it a try May. X
Deanna Tunnel
Try witch hazel on them bits.
Great video, May.
As always another great video, and your mossy bites try vinegar, stay safe
As a Canadian, I feel your agony re: mosquito bites! Seeing them made me itchy. 🪰😢 I enjoyed the video otherwise! 😄
Oh no! Nasty things!
Well done with the locks, you had a lovely day for it. Does it look like you will sell enough tickets for boat Togo to another home?
May here’s something that over the years has been a godsend for me when it comes to mozzie bites. Lick or moisten the site and then apply table salt to the area and let stand/sit for a bit. It draws out the stuff that makes you itch and shortens the skin recovery time. Yea, I know sounds gross to some. But try it. What have you got to lose.
Another lovely video. This raises the question why isn't your boat name written on the side? x
Never mind the fossil fuels used in getting them to britain.
Who said I was cynical?

Nice white legs! Here in southern Califronia we have these tiny-tiny no see-um mosquitos we call ankle biters. They have the most painful bite, though you actually don't feel them until an hour or two afterwards. The worst locations to be bitten is just below your ankle ball joint, the top of your feet and shins. I still have bruises from last year. Gawd I hate those skeeters.
you need teatree oil in your soap shampoo i use i used to be bitten all the time thay hate the smell ,,, i feel for you Merilyn x
Two words: Benadryl gel.
Chadd Tunnel
Is the engine smoking so much ?
Bad after starting, but seems to clear. Could well just be valve stem oil seals.
❤👍
😊😊😊
It was nice to see consideration for the chap you were talking to, You do have the right to film anybody in a public place in the uk, But I like the respect you show to others, A rare thing for people these days. Also those mozzie bites came up way more than normal , I think its called "Skeeter Syndrome" So it looks like you are allergic to them.
Not a nice evening for you with those bites on your legs as soon as your not busy they will itch like crazy. Good job there's a lock keeper, awful lot of work and hassle if their wasn't. But looks a good day out with a sit down meal to relax with.
I've finally registered on raffall! But alas I've not found your raffall 😢. Only one I found was the one that another UA-cam is raffalling off..... but I want yours!
Any tips on what I should search for? I've tried narrowboat, your name, wellbeing, and I'm stuck now.
Please advise x a red boat is better than a green one - so says my 7 year old!
The link is in the video description
@@Tacticaloutsideruk sorted! Thanks
12984 Only 16 more tickets to go but no one is buying these tickets? We need 13000 total and the raffell will be drawn!
Not sure where you got this number from?!! Raffall will be drawn on the 24th of December 👌
@@wellbeingonwater The raffell says that it will be drawn on 24th of December or when ticket sales get to 13 000. It is almost at 13 000 now!
@@wellbeingonwater I just had another look. One part does indeed say it ends on 24th Dec 2024, but on another bit it says 24th of December 2024 (Or when the last ticket is sold). I have been checking the website every day since you started the competition because there is a bit where you can see the number of tickets sold and the names of everyone that have brought tickets. Over the last few days it has been slowly going up the last 100 towards 13000, but in the last 12 hours it seems to have stopped at 12984!! I have been too excited checking it every hour! Please let me know an up date on the situation. The suspence is killing me.
It has finally gone up from 12984 to 12996. Only four to go..
@@wellbeingonwater Just got clarity that the numbers that I have been tracking are based on payed and free tickets. They are only counting the payed tickets towards the 13000 number. If it reaches this figure before 24th, then Raffell automatically pulles out a ticket.
Do people tip those volunteers sometimes?
I don’t think that’s a thing but we have made them tea and bought them ice-creams!
My Goodness your legs have been proper chewed on.
Seven hours, piping hot. Absolutely, no chance.
Guess it depends on your version of piping hot, sounds like maybe it’s different to mine. Does that mean everything we say is untrue? And if so, what is truth?
Great video,,(as usual)but i must confess to be a little disapointed, your thum nail showed yoy playing your guitar,so was looking forward to hearing you play,,but you didnt,,so dissapointed,,
