You're so lucky, May... The English countryside is absolutely beautiful. I can imagine myself living on a narrow boat with a big pot of soup on the gas hobs gently bubbling away while I'm curled up on the comfiest of couches while being smothered with a big woolley blanket. Bliss. 😉

The Kennet and Avon gets very very busy, boats moored head to tail the entire stretch. It might be pretty, but way too many boats imo. I hope your friends know this. Great vid May, youre looking chipper! You seem v relaxed for someone who is selling their home so soon, you're brave!

There's lots of drama, with the hire boaters, locals, shitty locks, bad mooring, lack of mobile signal and general isolatedness of Wiltshire and the canal.
When the red boards come off, you might be able to make it down there.

The thing about life, is that for a long time you can find yourself in a state of flux, whather from internal of your making or from other people, but the key is to find something to believe in that will keep to grounded and is clear that you have frist your family, then with Laura and Adam ( University family) and then with George (found family) if you see 2025 as new and exciting challenge you're gonna do well. And places like Apollo Duck and working marines are great places to find DIY boats.

13:05 put magnets on your door 😅 my door stays open because at the top had a hook. I replaced that with a magnet so if I go blind I can still keep it open 😊

The magnet I use comes with two parts. It’s used for quick removal of a baton when fishing. Something within those lines 🤗

Have you ever considered yourself as a "canal gypsy"?
How time has moved along considering that your raffle is in a couple of months. As for you being without accommodation, after the raffle, I hardly think that will be an issue due to the number of people you have met on the canals. I also can't imagine that George will let you live in the bushes along the canal lol while you find a new home.
Maybe one thing you might consider when you go looking for another boat is to buy one that you can renovate as you live aboard her.
No matter what happens you will come out the other side with that wonderful smile you always have.

You look so happy travelling your chosen family! You may know this already but Bristol harbour is undergoing huge changes & they'll be adding over 100 new moorings, including residential - Lauren & Adam may be interested to know that. I think Bristol is wonderful but I'm biased because I'm born n bred! :D @thefloatinghome17
