The BEST I’VE SHOT so far at least. I’m a novice shooter and this beauty is ACCURATE! It has a very high chance to be my first gun. One modification I will definitely do is add a light if I get this thanks to that rail.
OK, that is a yes and no!!! As it comes from the factory, NO!! But... That being said, Springfield sells and Optics Ready Slide for this pistol, I did a couple of Videos on this slide setup!! Check them out!!

This particular pistol has changed names a few times, now it's called "Defend your Legacy". Same lower price, better box and comes with a nice Gun Rug!!

There are a couple bad reviews out there on this pistol(like any other really) that say this pistol might break down more than others in training classes when pushed hard. Do you think this is true? Has that been your experience with the gun? If this is true what would be the reason?
There's a ton of "Old Wives Tales" In the Interwebz!!! I can tell you a couple of cringe ones I've heard over the past 35+ years. 99% of them are bullshit!! Like the Glock9 in Die Hard that can go through Metal Detectors... All Bullshit!! Make up your own mind. I've shot the XD BEFORE it was called the XD, when it was the HS2000 back in the early 2000's!!
That sounds like something a glock homer would say. XD/HS are excellent pistols, they do not have a reputation of being unreliable. LEO and militarys in many countries use these for duty pistols.

@@matthewhartup941 I don't even really like Glocks. I was just doing my due diligence before I bought the pistol. I was doing research before I bought a gun like I should. In the end I bought the XD9mm and I really like it a lot.

I do agree, this is one very accurate Pistol at a VERY moderate price!! I actually have two of them!!
I carry the XD40 service in winter and the XD45c in summer, great guns!
They are very well made and a tried and true design!!
