Just started it a week ago and it has saved me. I thought my extreme anxiety and insomnia was from perimenopause, but as soon as I started taking this. Anxiety is gone and I am sleeping.

I tried GABA with L-theanine for the anxiety which makes me tired unmotivated. I noticed a difference right away. I'm 79 so I thought my symptoms were age related, but no! I immediately felt calm and clear headed with more energy. it was like my brain telling me... This is what I need.
It does work. I had written down some new supplements I wanted to try and when I got them I kinda forgot why I chose them. I just read how to take them and added them two days ago. Yesterday, three hours after I took it an empty stomach as it states, I needed a nap. Then the next day I took a three hour nap! I chalked it up to the babysitting I did for my grandson. Maybe he just wore me out. Well, I took it this morning and now I need a nap so I came here to see when to take this stuff. It is not a placebo effect for me I can tell you that because I didn't know it would relax me until after taking it for three days! I will take it before bed from now on and I am excited I found this! Just ignore the negative comments and try it yourself.
It’s definitely working with each use, I fall asleep easily after 60m from taking, then I sleep deeply which i also see on my watch with improved hrv parameter
GABA does really work for me with sleep. but i sleep too much and can't wake up since i started to take GABA. without GABA (i do take glycine, too at night) i got mid awaiking or poor sleep. secondly,i feel anxiety in daytime even i take these GABA and glycine every night. how can i get over this problems? much appreciatetion and love from Japan❤
Ive tried ALOT of supplements and this one made me sleep 5,5 hours and 7 hours without awakening at all😃🙌🏻 i take 1000 mg with 500 mg magnesium (different types of magnesium also magnesium threonate) I use some l theanine in my daily cup coffee and glycine powder in my coffee and my matcha. I also use taurine in my proteinshakes,
No. If you take GABA orally, it won't even cross the blood brain barrier (so it probably doesn't even really work). Could go for something that increases GABA in the brain, like L-Theanine, lavender (silexan), valerian root, etc...
If I'm taking 1.5mg og Ropinerol can a try a low does of GABA with it to help me with my sleep. The Ropinerol is pretty good with my RLS, but need some help with sleep.
You can take L-Theanin which *does* cross the blood brain barrier & indirectly contributes to higher GABA levels. Otherwise you'll have to try it and see if it works for you.
GABA molecules are too big to cross the blood brain barrier and hence is not does not work where it should. For someone having sleep problem related to nervousness or nerve pain or anxiousness, get your doc to prescribe Gabapentin at the lowest dose of 100mg.
Ive taken gabapentin and it didn't do anything. When I take gaba it works amazingly well! It does cause like 5 min of shortness of breath at higher doses
Maybe not before bed time cause ginseng is an adaptogen that gives you a lot of energy! I take alot of adaptogens now. Its exciting If I can see results in some weeks. I put powder with alot of adaptogens in my daily protein shakes. I also work on cutting down on coffee. Gonna drink only one small cup today and make match instead.
@stefanallard3084 if is pure Gaba or in a gelatin capsule is pure and fine, of course. But most NOW supplements come with lots of other ingredients such as rice powder, stearate acid, etc
Many people say that, but gaba definitely works, whoever tried it can tell. Definitely for me improves sleep quality, relaxation, and reduces time to fall asleep. Either it passes the bbb or it works in other parts of the body. Or it gets transformed into something else. Many many reports on reddit also.
GABA can't pass through the blood brain barrier so GABA taken in supplement form can't attach to our receptors. So any effects you've been feeling are placebo in nature.
little known fact, this young man's voice and demeanor also help with relaxation and stress
It definitely works. I can feel it's effect within 15 minutes
Can’t believe I waited my whole life until I found this. I bought some at CVS for $12 and it changed my life.
How much and when do you take it? Also have you had any adverse effects when taking GABA?
Thank you for giving info god bless you 😢😢😢😢😢 since my kids dad died I'm total wreck as a single mom😢😢😢😢
Same. First week life changing

I have found GABA helpful for sleep, fatigue, and stress. When I take it with 5-HTP, I feel very calm and relaxed.
The literature is saying GABA doesnt absorb in it’s GABA form. Some recommend GABA from a fermented source, which increases its bioavailability.

You are still taking Gaba
I'm sorry to hear that, I hope that Allah grants you patience and rewards you in this life and the after life@@majeedmohamed9523

You guys should try pharmagaba! Its fermented gaba and you dont have to use as much but it does cost a lot more
Dankeschön!

sounds like your using the company Natural Stacks
Does supplementing it decrease our production of GABA? Do we need to cycle?

If it's for sleep, another good one is L-Tryptophan. Precursor to melatonin (and serotonin)

Yes cycle it

yes tempe you pronounce it well
Since Gaba may not cross the blood brain barrier, should I take more to reach the desired effect?

GABA makes me excessively drowsy during the day does this mean I'm naturally producing enough ?
Use it in the evening
Yessssssssss it WORKS
Well done brother
This is very interesting.
magnesium calm sleep. has gaba L theanine and melatonin the combo works awesome 👌

GABA + 5-HTP 👌
Awesome information 👏 👌 👍 thanks
The brain and the gut are connected.
Seems to work alright for me Stihl don't get a full night's sleep
To do is cut out the caffeine
What is the dosage for this? I take 500mg and have alergy. What is the differnce between GABA and Melatonin?
same with me, I now have a lower dose of 100mg. the sublingual is the best also 100mg
Gabapentin almost demolish my brain 😢
Gabapentin is a medication, Gaba is not the same , its a supplement
Molecule too big to cross blood brain barrier!
😅
Just don't buy the Now brand because it is full of fillers.
Even the pure powder?

But for other problems is working perfect
@@hamidman6974 Do you cycle it? And do you take it before sleep?
Yes it does in 45% American population.

This is half correct. Some people have leaky gut
ill pay for the placebo effect.
