Hi Paula. Sorry to hear about your tooth problem. I don’t like going to a dentist anyway. I had to wait 3 months to get an appointment . I changed my kelp to Gardenera premium organic liquid kelp for orchids. It comes in a small bottle so I use it up before it can go bad. I only have 132 orchids so those large bottles get moldy before I can use it up. Good video sis , hugs 🫂🤗💞🌸💕🎀

.......this was a very good tutorial Paula.....your welcome cocktail is a great idea......and 66ppm...thats really good tap water .....Ive used 100 of gallons of kelp/seaweed over the years....Maxicrop is my go to brand......I found a bottle that I lost 4yrs ago in the back of a cabinet......it was fine, no mold, breakdown, etc.....I keep mine cool and in the dark....its also important not to contaminate it with other products......Im so sorry to hear about your dental issues.....prayers for some quick relief and to get this behind you......Michael's suggestion about keeping it in the fridge......great idea!

Ouch! Hope you're able to get your abscess resolved soon! About 5 years ago, I had to get a root canal. At the time, my dry mouth was so bad, and I didn't know that dry mouth could cause tooth decay. I was surprised when my dentist told me that..... Nice tips. I wish I had softer water. Unfortunately, my tap is about 300 to 400 ppm. Luckily most of my orchids and plants are handling it okay. I want to flush them out with distilled water soon....Hope you have relief from your pain and are able to have a good weekend.

I have high count like yours also,I was buying 6gallons of distilled water every week just to be able to work with Peters A&B. Did all through spring and summer last year. But I was having trouble finding the distilled water for some reason in Tampa Florida. Not sure if the storms affected supplies‼️ anyway at that time I also was having heart issues. So at that point I started MSU fertilizer. Now I flush every fifth wk, I do the cocktail once a month and hydroponics calimagic with Epsom salt very fourth week. Then rest of time I’m using MSU. In sept I switch to using a bloomer every third week. This past blooming season has been great. I do wonder how much the A&B Jacks affected it though. So I’ll see next year what happens 🥰 sorry for long response,but I was excited to see someone else had such a high ppm in tap water

Hi Paula, I got my CalMag and seaweed from a weed shop. I have one literally next door. Gardencenters don't have it and also no orchid online vendors which puzzles me 🤔 I feel so awfully sorry for your tooth pain. Here in Vienna if you want a dentist date (?) the first question is if you are in pain. Then you get a date immediately. We also have emergency dentists for holidays and weekends. And its covered by healthcare. Only everything fancy artiical for your mouth is not included and then it gets pricy. Wish you all the best!

Hey hon, I have sjgrogrens on top of my mixed connective tissue disease and Lupus. Just to name a few. I have fibfromyalga Reynauds and few more! Sadly I have many auto immune diseases. I have terrible terrible terrible rheumatologist! I just had a new one and it's a no go! I'm hoping to go to an auto immune clinic in Pittsburgh that specializes in all aspects of auto immune disorders. Even mental health. Which is important! Like you said orchids keep you out of your own head! Me too! ✋️ my family Dr has me on cevelamine. It's not doing much. Maybe I can ask him about selgan! Thanks for letting me know it helps you! I am so sorry about your Healthcare in WV. Everybody deserves good healthcare. Everybody! I was diagnosed 10 years ago. I live in NC and I'm lucky to have good Pain Management team and a good Rheumatologist. The thing that helped me the most was changing my diet. What they call the Autoimmune Protocol Diet. I found out about it from an Army Vet friend. I searched Pinterest and found it there! Try it if you haven't. Hang in there. You are carrying so much. I started tap water last summer,and switched to MSU fertilizer and a bloomer in Sept. orchids are doing great this spring. I have purchased First Rays seaweed extract. I put small amt in A little white bottle. The small amt I have in smaller bottle has formed mold on top of liguid now. So the original bottle seems to be ok. If I see mold I throw it away and add new from large bottle again to small bottle. Have you had problem with the first rays seaweed extract⁉️
Hey hon, MSU would be a good fertilizer to use. There is nothing wrong with it. I have never had first rays leave mold on top but the dark stuff molds on me so fast. I don't like using it. You really have to store in a cool dry place. Have a wonderful weekend 🤗 🌹 🩷 💚

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear about your tooth ache. That sounds painful. You should prioritize resting up! I’ve been testing out treating new orchids with beneficial bacteria/fungi (like Trichoderma). They are good for plant growth but also will feed on less beneficial bacteria and mold. Can’t tell how useful it is yet

First , ever since i watched my first video of yours, my heart melts at “Be kind…” that is so true! Now, I live in the my area. Never ever had one of the 2 dentists I’ve used ever made my family wait if there was an abscess. They will open their office for us. We aren’t special, we are just people. I find that to be so mean. Please find another dentist. You should not have to wait regardless if you are making payments or paying in full. My heart hurts for you. I will say a prayer for u. Now… back to this video!

Hey hon, everyone tap water is different. That's why you need a meter to test what you have. Tap water can be really high in some areas! So you have to filter. Either by Reverse Osmosis or I used zero water filters. But if you only do gallon it wouldn't be that bad to filter a gallon at a time. I did put the links to each of the items to buy off Amazon. Oh darling I’m so sorry about the abscess! It’s horrible! My dentist died a few years ago.. didn’t go to a dentist for 4 yrs because many are inept. He was so good, I was appalled at the poor quality of subsequent “tries” … I became very sick, there were no symptoms in my teeth. Finally my tooth started hurting and called the good dentist. They saw me immediately.. he tried to save it, said if it didn’t go down to call in morning. That day I had to have emergency oral surgery with drain in neck and all. I know how sick teeth can make you.. the antibiotic will still be in your body when you see dentist-but you still feeling miserable (on top of the usual inflammatory misery :( during flares)-gives me pause.. except that the swelling is going down is probably buying time, albeit you still feel terrible.. so sorry sister, it ain’t right…

you can store the kelp in the fridge, it will stay "good" for up to a year after opening when refrigerated.

@@christellough3401 I use just straight calmag for flushing. I add about 100ppm calmag to my flushing water. This welcome cocktail is just for new plants. 😁🤗🌹🩷💚

Oh darling I’m so sorry about the abscess! It’s horrible! My dentist died a few years ago.. didn’t go to a dentist for 4 yrs because many are inept. He was so good, I was appalled at the poor quality of subsequent “tries” … I became very sick, there were no symptoms in my teeth. Finally my tooth started hurting and called the good dentist. They saw me immediately.. he tried to save it, said if it didn’t go down to call in morning. That day I had to have emergency oral surgery with drain in neck and all. I know how sick teeth can make you.. the antibiotic will still be in your body when you see dentist-but you still feeling miserable (on top of the usual inflammatory misery :( during flares)-gives me pause.. except that the swelling is going down is probably buying time, albeit you still feel terrible.. so sorry sister, it ain’t right…
Hey sweetie your so right! Oh my you had a terrible time! You poor dear! Yes I'm sure the antibiotics are just buying me time! The dentist didn't offer them I had to request them from my family Doctor. I may have been a real mess also had I not gotten the antibiotics. This dentist receptionist I think is the issue. She is a real wench! If you know what I mean! Plus on top the procedure is going to cost me a grand! 😢So frustrating! I won't be seen till Monday evening 6pm. Ugh I'm exhausted! 😭
