Just a note: You _can_ evolve Eevee into its Gen II evolutions in RSE. There's no visible day/night cycle, but it evolves into Umbreon if the clock says AM, and Espeon if it says PM. It's a bit weird, but I had an Eevee egg traded over to my Ruby cart that evolved into Espeon way back when.
RZE doesn't have a visual night and time cycle BUT it has the internal clock so time pass in the game (so time events like berries and soal cave happen) so you can get Espeon and Unbreon by evolving Eevee depending on what hour it is (you can check ant clock or just go to soal cave and check the tide)
@@NuzlockeJoe yeah but they should be better spread out and give them better level up moves especially in older gens where tms are definitely needed. Like each eevee gets a basic move like Espeon getting confusion upon level up but depending on level it turns to pay wave or psychic.

Idea for a Nuzlocke - limited to starter + 1 pokemon for each gym beaten, which must be of that gyms type - so if in Gen1, you have starter only til you beat Brock, then you can add a rock type, then once you get cascade badge you can add a water type as your third pokemon, and so on.

@@Eserchie yep. Geodude right before Misty, Magikarp/Gyarados before Surge and Voltorb before Erika (no repels before Brock so getting a Pikachu after Surge is pretty much impossible)
I think Vaporeon can be slimy since it's made entirely out of water but also it can clear Acid Armor. Which oddly enough makes perfect sense with it being made of 100% water
I just recently got a link cable and second gameboy and was so excited to be able to play through Emerald with eevees.... only to find out that it can't be traded over until you get the national dex :( I guess this video will have to fill that void in my heart lol
Found out you can trade from colosseum to emerald and bypass the restrictions. Just bred up a team of eevees in a new emerald play through and my dream is alive again! lol
Despite the fact that Hoenn is my favourite region and Emerald is my favourite game, I don't think I've ever realised the lack of Eevee. Also, did only using 5 Pokémon instead of 6 make any difference to the challenge?
Not really, considering the eeveelutions are awesome, and I rarely have a full team of 6 in general runs anyway since I generally match gym leader and rival team sizes

I love Eevee so much. Great Mon just wish they buffed his EVOS to have some extra stats or skills and moves
All the eeveelutions have 525 base stat totals, on par with the fully evolved starters. Those seem like pretty good stats to me

Notice how all the Pokémon’s exp bar is always 0%. Normally training can’t put it at exactly 0% so you definitely cheating levels.
