Yeah Ash kinda sucks having non evolved Pokémon for like 2/3 of the entire series. When you see a level 47 totodile, you usually think of Pokémon mystery dungeon. But either way, another Joe banger, and it was a great start to my day since it’s my birthday. Much love as always, and very excited to see the rest of the can ash win series

But I do think it’s about time they replace ash. You can only be 10 years old for so long
It always erked the fuck out of me in the anime. They literally give you all three starters in the two first seasons and I understand the whole "it's up to them" thing but it's just absolute wasted potential and becomes tiresome after awhile too.
You can say it's the power of friendship all you want but facts are facts. Your non evolved mons are shit compared to their fully evolved forms and the only reason you manage to win at all is plot armor

These are a fun watch! I look forward to Hoenn and hope the others are possible; most of the runs will probably be less agonizing, since more of his Pokémon start to evolve over time.
I think they should be possible. I’m already working on the Hoenn sprites, but it’ll probably be a few months till part three comes out.

I’m getting ahead of myself, but I’ve started looking at missing tutorials for Pokémon platinum, and I think I should be able to handle it. Gen 6 though, I have no idea if people even do that!

Love the videos but the ash Gary race happened on the way to mahogany town. Not on the way to goldenrod. Ashs chikorita had evolved by that point.
Between type disadvantages and pokemon that never evolve you've really made me question Ashs skill as a trainer 😂

How do you transfer your Pokemon from Yellow to Crystal?
So I did this on my computer, there is a program called PK Hex where you can copy pokemon from one game, and import then into the next.

It does. In the early gens light ball doubled pikas special attack, and then later generations included regular attack too. But my pikachu was doing way to much damage to not have a boost.

But why did you press that rule where you force yourself to restart battles every time one of your Pokémon faints? Ash doesn't exactly have flawless wins against major trainers himself
Mostly it was to make it more challenging, but I did drop that condition for the following episodes.

I had never watched Poke'mon outside of season 1, way back when, lol. But it always seems odd to me, how bad of a trainer Ash is, lol. I mean at the start I can get, but even as he goes on. Hell, I get that now he apparently won his journey is over and it'll be someone news journey but why did they write him so bad as a trainer? They could've had him win some of these bug tournaments and all that, it's not like he needed to win them all.
Just my two cents from my limited knowledge.
So sometimes he does get better, and other times he 100% does not. For example, in the battle frontier in his Agatha battle, he tells pikachu to use quick attack against a gengar. Keep in mind this is after going through kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. So yeah…

There are plenty of ways to get into Rom hacking, I only just started last year. And changing gym leader Pokémon isn’t a super difficult thing to do.

Machop- Trade for Abra in Department Store, comes with Karate Chop

Ash's Cyndaquil (Crystal) - Lazy, gentle, can't use Flamethrower not before warming up.
Sunny's Cyndaquil/Quilava (HeartGold Nuzlocke) - Is heavily breathing all the time, the heavily traumatized starter Pokémon, and is friendly with every Pokémon in Sunny's team, he mastered Fire Blast and did Voltorb Flip with Sunny, the survivor and MVP of the dreaded Whitney battle.
Togepi/ Togetic (Supposedly Misty's friend, but was given as a special occasion for the Nuzlocke, warrior of the Morty battle)

Were it me, I would’ve just Time Capsuled the freebie Kanto Starters and Pikachu (as mint as I could get away with) from a fresh file of Yellow and used Charmander as a desperation option had Pikachu and Chikorita somehow (somehow!) not be enough to muscle past Falkner on their own.

@@NuzlockeJoe Yes the blaziken & keckleon could be replaced by a hitmonlee and magmar/Typhlosion w/ fire punch and a Girafarig (confusion)/ghastly line (lick/hypnosis). Don’t get me wrong I’ve always wanted to play in regards of the anime so I truly love your product!

There is an episode in johto where they encounter Sudowoodo. I can't remember when, im rewatching the show now, and I started hoenn last week. But Johto does have a Sudowoodo episode.
