I feel this makes it look cheap as most toys that are going for a metal look always use that same technique used on actual plated metal. Though it does look nice, a matte version would look nicer in my opinion.
Too much chrome. I had to put my sunglasses on just to look at it. Should of made the wheels black on the engine and the tender. It would of stood out a lot more. Sure it may of cost a few bucks more to do that but if you can afford this engine what's a few bucks more. Even is they had made the wheels in 24 karat gold it would of looked better. Just can't see all the fine features because of the shine.
