And these classics (844, 4449 Daylight, 4449 AFT, etc.) are absolute must-haves!
But the price? Ouch. Just under 1.5k each, plus tax, shipping, and handling.
That's $4,500, even without the added charges.
Just imagine if the people building the transcontinental railroad encountered some dinosaurs? A T-Rex might not like a steam locomotive rolling through its hunting grounds.

What's the widest curve on this layout? I wouldn't think an engine of that size would be capable of running on it
The layout curves are O-48, but Lionel recommends O-72 so that the cab doesn't overhang so much that it looks unrealistic. We took it slow at first...
