Thanks for the video. It's nice to see a vid from someone who actually knows what they are doing and has done it before. To many "how to" videos on UA-cam are just someone fumbling through it for the first time....
Question: 1996 LT F250 quadrunner 2x4. If I picked up a 250 4x4 is it possible to transfer the 4x4 components from another quad if that motor is bad? And if so, what year models should I look for? My 2x4 has very low mileage and motor is in good condition.
Hey so I took a part Keihin carb on arctic cat 300 Awd when I removed all the jets and soaked it in cleaner. I found tiny o ring and metal sleeve. Sleeve fits in pilot jet screw hole also the o ring seem to go on pilot jet as well. I am just not sure how to put it back together as I noticed it after I took parts out of the cleaner. Can you please help and let me know how to put those two parts together? Thank you for the great and knowledgeable video sir.
Good video very well done easy to follow straight forward thanks man. Got water in fuel tank thanks to fuel cap failure so got to go through carb and been while since I cleaned mine. Thanks
Do you know where i can get a new one for a good price? The screws on mine are totally done (which i can understand after it sat for about 17 years). All the ones I have been finding are super expensive
Do you know which number is written on the top jet or what specifications are for the smollest nozzle (pilot jet) in the floating area? I damaged the old one and i want to replace it with new
I have a tiny black o-ring. I think it goes on the needle screw that has the spring which is adjusted by screwing all the way in first then backed off 2 and half turns or so. Is that where the o-ring goes? No one in any of the King Quad carb vids ever remove it but I did. So, I'm pretty sure that's where it went. Thanks.
Just bought a one owner garage kept 1999 King Quad 300 4x4 with only 800 miles. It runs great and everything looks good. I'm not sure about the mechanical history. What do you suggest I do to it? Obviously change the oil. Is there any other service I should do since it's so old.
So I've had the four wheeler a few months. I mostly use it for moving trailers and stuff around my small property. It can idle forever when it first starts and starts right up no matter how long it sits. I've never used the choke. I start to have problems if I start to run it harder and high rpms. Once it gets warmed up the engine dies when the rpm starts to go down like when you shift gears or stop. It will start right back up but you have to keep bumping the throttle to keep it going. Suggestions?
After I typed that a light bulb went off and I feel kind of dumb. I assumed the choke on was the off position. Apparently I've been running with the choke on this whole time.
Very helpful video, thanks. I have a 1990 250 4X4 Quad and trying to free up a stuck choke cable (in the open position). Taken apart as far as removing the plastic nut on the body of the carburetor but the choke plunger assembly will not come out of the body of the carburetor. Any suggestions on how best to get this moving again?
what exactly is that slide and diaphram doing? I was experimenting with mine, I removed the diaphram and slide, started up fine and ran fine with out it, what is the purpose of it?
Hey I got a 96 for $100 I need to know what goes on the 2 pipes on the slide side coming out at an angle they both run straight to the Bowl and I don't know what lines go on them? There isn't really any lines to go on them unless I'm missing them cuz there wasn't any when I pulled the carb
Central Powersports Exchange thanks for your quick response and yes that's what I am talking about. I'm not sure why I'm not getting it to start should I fill the bowl manually to start out?
I had to rebuild my carb on account of bogging on half throttle n such. Ive gotten everything else done but the goddamn seat wont come out. I got a 92 king quad

Any aftermarket complete carbs available for a quadmaster 500?
What would cause my 1995 king quad 300 4x4 to run wide open but will not idle it will stall and back fire
Should use JIS cross point screwdriver from japan on what looks like a phillips #2. The screws are hollowed out by using the wrong screw tip.
I have 1999 300 king quad. Why does it bog down when I give it gas.
