Correct, you can bind multiple quads with this. I have the original Lite 2 and it's bound to 6 quads. Great as a first radio. It's still my only and primary. Thanks for your videos. I did watch the first one too. Much appreciated.
I had a problem with Lite 2 radio that throttle and pitch gimbals (pots) didn't work out of the box. So I wouldn't be buying this one until they upgrade to hall gimbals. For around $10-15 you can get a radio in a similar form from Jumper or RadioMaster with hall sensor gimbals.
I have the old Literadio 2 which works well. I bought the SE and I had two big problems with it: 1. The battery would not charge over USB-C. I could charge the battery by connecting the small JST connector on the battery to 1s charger, but no matter what it will not charge over USB-C. 2. The SE will not bind to my NewBeeDrone HummingBird V1 BNF - PMB Edition whoop. The old Literadio 2 binds to it just fine, but the SE will not bind to it. This whoop is a Silverware FC, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the issue. That said, I have seen lots of comments on fb from people who cannot bind the SE to this specific whoop - in fact, nobody has reported successfully binding the SE to this HummingBird. Hi! Nice video! Maybe it is a silly question but what do the 4 switches do? The one with SA written on it looks like an arm disarm, but what do sb, sd, sc do?
You can assign modes (functions) in Betaflight to make them do whatever you want. The SA switch is a two position because the arming channel (CH5) is just high or low only.
Is it compatible with Frsky R-XSR Receiver in my cinelog35 drone? I could use a small travel remote. I wish someone made a website with all standards and cross-refence. like is D16 is the same XSR or it's a sub category?
This radio uses the D8 and D16 protocols for the FrSky version. The R-XSR is a D16 receiver, so they will bind and work together. R-XSR is the model name. D16 is the protocol it speaks and what it will be compatible with. Just ask me questions, I know a lot about all these different radios and protocols. I have hundreds of videos you can watch that will talk about these in various amounts of detail.
Hi. I have the Eachine Novice 1 coming in a few days and am looking to upgrade the controller. Will this bind easily with the quad? I saw that it can bind with the RM T8, but requires moving and soldering a connection. Not what I'm looking for in my first fpv .
Future proof? One of the potentiometers on mine failed 1 month in, and the replacement betafpv sent weren't any better. I've now been through 3 broken potentiometers.

Yes, this is good enough, however I recommend the LiteRadio 3 PRO with ELRS if you want to use it with real drones later. See my review here... ua-cam.com/video/Pl4UpZqN15c/v-deo.html
I cant bid it with meteor 75 little, I put in d8 mode and hit bind button later but no way , in my previous little radio2 , they bind automatically once was in d8 mode , is something else I need to do ?
I got the Bayang version from a starter Kit I won. Does that mean I can still bind with the other frsky protocols d16/d8 or am I limited to only Bayang protocols.
Yes you can but you have to change the mode from D8 to D16 as outlined in the manual. Your XM+ receiver must also have the ACCST firmware and not the ACCESS firmware. This radio will not work with ACCESS firmware. Apparently many people don't read the manual then go online to claim the product is falsely advertised. I don't give much credit to anything online anymore.
Hi Albert, have you ever had trouble connecting it to a computer for simulations? Ive tried mine on Mac and PC and neither are recognising it, is there a something im missing? Ive tried all suggestions online and none of them work
Could be a USB driver problem. When you plug it in, it should give you a notification that a USB Joystick has been plugged in. Do you get that? If not, the USB port on the PC or radio could be broken. Have you tried other PC's?

Albert good stuff. Any way to Adjust trims for centering in Betaflight? Any idea how many models it will hold? If you have multiple models with different protocols....does it auto switch settings internal automatically (I think this is what you meant when you mentioned multiple models)?
There are no trim buttons but you can run the calibration sequence I mentioned in the video to do proper centering. You can bind up as many models as you want but it does not auto switch protocols. You have to switch manually.
Radiomaster TX12 is much better but also much more expensive. If you plan to stay in FPV for a long time, spend more money. If you're not sure, get the cheaper option.
Either the throttle isn't all the way down or one of the switches isn't in the correct default position. Consult the manual to set the switches to the correct default position.

I just got one Thursday. Works well with DRL on my PC, but I can't get it to bind to my Mobula7. But I'm new to this and they both seem real simple to bind but it won't
Make sure you are binding it in the correct mode for the receiver. Look on the configuration page to see what mode the receiver is in and bind in that same mode on the radio.
sad to see they're still using the same potentiometers that caused so many Issues for multiple users (including me). Should've put in better ones and make It $5 more expensive. (see video about the potentiometer/gimbal Issue on my channel)
Athough I love the form factor and the price accessibility of this product, I am very disappointed to see that they did not improve the gimbals as these potientiometers are crap. My Literadio 2 had deadband issues on throttle between 30 to 50% out of the box and started after 3 weeks some jitter on the roll axis as well. It is currently RMA at my local vendor and I have low expectations. My advice is to just wait for the Jumper T-Lite review with hall effect gimbals before making any move. Albert can you please show the signal sticks precision through the received tab of Betaflight configurator when you review the T-lite? And thanks for the great content!
@@AlbertKimTV I tried for the throttle issue but it did not help. Reading other unhappy customer feedbacks on Reddit I tried opening the potentiometer and lifted the wiper to increase contact. It helped a lot, but unfortunately this did not last long. Haven't tried recalibrating for the roll issue thought. Thanks for the help Albert!
Head the same problem with the gimbals, but appearing only after a few hours of use. Showed problem to BetaFPV, they graciously did send replacement gimbals, BUT those started failing even faster than the original ones. The problem was dead zones in the potis, causing enormous control problems. No, calibrating through open tx did not help. Their potentiometers are absolute junk. Going by the disassembly shown in Albert's video, the gimbal set was not updated versus the 'old' lite radio, so the new one likely still has the same junk potis. Stay away from this!
I got the original literadio 2 and the gimbals don't work. Lots of dead zones. Disappointed to see that they are still using the same sensors. Cannot find a fix and customer service is virtually none.
Just bought it for my simulator. but the problem is, it doesnt work on my android phone using freerider sim. And i also tried other simulators but unfortunately cant recognize my controller. Is this BETAFPV literadio 2 SE really works on android phone? . TIA
Potential sources of the problem... Phone doesn't support OTG. You're not using an OTG USB cable (regular cable doesn't work). The OTG cable is not compatible with the version of OTG your phone supports.
Already purchased one of these! Hope the gimbals are not having dead spots again. (Refunded my previous literadio 2) Anyone here who has used the literadio 2 for longer than a year without issues with the gimbals?

Thanks Albert! I've been waiting on this review for weeks, but problem I experienced isn't addressed or mentioned. This TX doesn't bind to any Emax Tinyhawk series. HappyModel Moblite7 and NBD PMB Hummingbird either. I was able to bind it to NBD Hummingbird F4 pro though. Purchased directly from BETAFPV and there was no information about this. When RDQ listed this item two weeks ago, they added "This radio does not support newer FrSky receiver firmware" disclaimer. Lovely nice compact TX and I loved the original one, but this upgraded SE is hit or miss depends on what whoops/quads you have... or what you'll have later down the road. If anyone can confirm and share experience, I would love to hear it guys!
I think you got the Bayang version. That one isn't compatible with FrSky. I can confirm the FrSky version I have does bind with all those models you have mentioned.
@@AlbertKimTV Thanks for a response Albert! It is FrSky version and I saw few other guys on NBD HIVE group experiencing same issue. Both binds to particular whoops, but it doen'st bind to Emax SPIs and NBD PMB hummingbird. I have the same problem I am so glad you put this out I just returned it back to get fpv and they are going to send me another one idk what to do? It won’t connect to my tiny hawk fs 2.
Are you sure you have the FrSky version and not the Bayang version? Which store did you get yours at? I am able to bind with all the Tinyhawk models in D8 mode on mine.
I got the frsky version from RDQ. The box says frsky. I have the radio is D8 mode as well. The blue LEDon my tiny hawk s is solid in bind mode but the red one is consistently blinking slowly. And when I hit bind on the radio nothing happens, blue stays solid and red blinks. I’m going to fiddle with it a bit more when I get off of work.
Just bought it a couple weeks ago. I have quads and a radiomaster 16s which works fine will both my mobula6 and tinhawk freestyle. Tried running in D8 and D16 and nothing going. Beta fpv cust supp hasnt been the best. I think there is something wrong with the stick.
100% have the new Special Edition version. I have emailed back and forth with beta fpv including sending them the barcode so they could double check. They just sent me the binding protocol through an email and told me to follow the steps to a T. It was exactly what the instructions said and exactly what I did. I even sent them a video of me doing the binding protocol to try to help diagnose the problem. The havent emailed me back since I sent them the video. 🤷♂️. Just going to use it as my sim remote. I was hoping to just fly my small drones around the house with it.
Looks like they are using the exact same gimbals which for me is the worst experience about the lite radio 2. I'm on my 3rd set and there are jitter and deadband issues. This has been the main complaint across forums. When you consider the jumper t-lite is around £10-15 more for 4in1 protocol, ships with hall gimbals, a screen and full openTX as standard and has support for ghost at full 350mW (crossfire is currently pointless out the box) I really think this radio has had its day.

@@AlbertKimTV I know, I just really want that new Jumper tlite tx lol
Have you tried recalibrating the gimbals?
I like easy. 👍🏼
Did they upgrade the gimballs. I got 3 with huge dead center. Without raising dead center to 10 to 20 it drift roll and another yaw
Did you try to calibrate the gimbals?
Already purchased one of these! Hope the gimbals are not having dead spots again. (Refunded my previous literadio 2)
Anyone here who has used the literadio 2 for longer than a year without issues with the gimbals?
@@drumalley3063 and then you got twitchy gimbals?
@@drumalley3063 They arrived (gimbals are Oke) and this time I got one with a faulty tuner. I contacted betaFPV and they will send me a new part. Have you tried contacting betafpv? Maybe they can send you parts also
Just funny that I bought this 2 times and I got problems twice haha..
Also bought replacement gimbals. They work fine for now... no idea for how long.
@@drumalley3063 yeah I fully agree 😕

is this R/C can use a pack of four AA batterys
is R/C come with a receiver
No to AA batteries. There is an internal lipo inside. Does not come with receiver, you have to purchase separately.
It does bind to two of my whoops on D8... ofcourse I reached out to BETAFPV, but no luck. Also I have purchased two of these SEs and they are both performing same. Both binds to particular whoops, but it doen'st bind to Emax SPIs and NBD PMB hummingbird. If any of other followers/users ask and experience this issue, love to see a solution so whoop flyers doesn't have to carry around X9d+ and TX16s. Anyways, we always enjoy and appreciate your reviews and clever builds/mods! thanks!
I have the same problem I am so glad you put this out I just returned it back to get fpv and they are going to send me another one idk what to do? It won’t connect to my tiny hawk fs 2.
@@johnpaulhernandez2986 Man, you are lucky. I purchased directly from BetaFPV and I am screwed. Absolutely no aftersale service nor responds.
@@chineepanda what do you recommended I don’t want them too send it again
Is anyone having problems binding with emax AIO receivers? My tinyhawk s won’t bind to this SE model
I just realized my aux channel are still set for my radiomaster. That might be why I’m having issues.
I bought this and it wouldnt bind to any of my quads :(
Make sure you're on a mode that works with your receiver type. Also, are you sure you don't have the Bayang version.
@@TylerC2413 Are you sure you don't have the Bayang version? Maybe they sent you the wrong version.
I HAVE I BIND PROBLEMS WITH TINYHAWK 2 , X-SRX AND XM+ RECEIVER ONLY WORKS ON FLIGHT SIMULATOR HEELLLLPP!!!!?????????
Did you buy the Bayang version?
the only one that was available in RDQ
I agree I would rather have the T lite
As with most things in life, you'll get more when you spend more.
What's up Albert?!
