Very informative video. Your clear and concise descriptions based on your extensive experience leads me to follow your advice. I am retired and new to airbrushing. You have saved me such valuable time. Thank you and I will continue to view your other excellent videos.
Chubby Jay, yes! Great advice and I like the magnetic dry erase boards. That last couple of years I found I like using magnets to hold my work instead of tape when I can. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
Artfuldodger978, I agree. I liked my VL. I was just pointing out the differences between the two. I am eyeing a couple of the Paasche gravity feeds to do reviews on. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching.
I'm using the affiliate links you have provided, I have a couple Curious questions about your journey, You said you have been air brushing for "many many years". I am wondering, what began your interest in Airbrushing, and how old were you? Was there a demand for airbrushed products? When it comes to Air compressors, I'm needing Pressures from 0- to maybe 45. 45 being absolute max, and not so loud. I am having moisture problems with this small compressor I have, I do like that its somewhat quiet. Canvas types. I am working on detail work on large canvas's like walls, and furniture. So Tiny micro dots to covering large areas. Big Project ahead and I'm glad you posted this. You seem to have perfect timing with your videos. Thank the Algorithm!
AS, I was was always interested in art from a small child. As I became a teenager I saw an amazing painting on a motorcycle tank and asked how someone could do that. I was told it was airbrush! Ans ever since I had a desire to learn the airbrush. I started when I was 16 but really didn't pic it up and Strat to work at it until my mid 20's. I think there will always be a demand for custom art. A vinyl machine has its limits. lol. As far as air compressors I recommend the one I use. It's the 2 gallon Fortress at Harbor Freight and it's quiet, or the 1 gallon if you are going to be taking it from job to job, I have reviews on both. you will have no moisture problems with either one. Hope this helps, thanks for the question and watching. Good luck in your journey.
Really great information and wisdom, thank you for the video 😊

@@TheAirbrushGarage Do you have any videos on using automotive primer and acrylic paints in a airbrush? Thank you.
@John Corvette John, I do not. If I spray auto primer, I spray it with a primer gun with a 1.3 needle. And I use createx exclusively in my brushes.
@@TheAirbrushGarage Thank you dor the advice.
I started to use a cheap dry erase board to place my work on,Walmart has a variety of sizes too.

The VL, you can run maple syrup through and have no problems. Awesome beginner brush.

@@TheAirbrushGarage I like the passche talon. It fits my large mitts better than most.
Wouldn’t that change the flavor of the pancakes? 😳
@@chubbyjaydraws nope. It just lets the pancake soak up the syrup easier.
😎 thanks
