hows it going? now three months later I use to live in a place the hot water took 10-15 to get warm, I was taking cold showers with heater (Gas) at first but after awhile, I didn't bother with the heater, just jumped in and washed.
If you live in a warm climate your water may never get cold enough to be effective.You have two choices, you can do ice baths which are a pain because of having to buy ice allof the time or you can engage in cryotherapy. Personally i do cold showers daily and also go to a cryotherapy chambers place 4 times a week.
richard plantan winter lasts about 7 months where I am currently and they are extremely cold and treacherous. It snowed a few days ago. Today was our first day that gave hope of Spring. Its been going smashingly. I take 20 min daily ice cold showers. Good for you richard with the cryotherapy! I we t to the mountain and walked barefoot this winter that was fun. First winter back “home” in five yrs.WHM definitely helped and like I said ..yes the water gets freezing in the winter , sometimes one must take measures to ensure the pipes do not freeze.

Hi Wim, My 85 year old mother has recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease going on one month now. It's a rash all over her body. Apparently, anti-bodies are attacking her skin. She's always looked 20 years younger than her age until about 2.5 years ago when she got ulcelative colitis. She's gotten better and as far as she tells me she has no more episodes. But this itchy painful rash is really getting the best of her. The doctor has her on Prednisone which makes her get anxiety attacks really bad. She's on no other medicines. She's always been anti doctor and anti medicine. I've tried to talk her into the breathing and incremental cold showers but she's not wanting to. Maybe if she heard it from you. Any recommendations? Please help with any insights. PS. I myself have been doing completely cold showers for 2.5 months now thanks to you. Blessings!
Hi.. a couple of weeks ago I went through the most intense bout of insomnia (7 hrs sleep in 5 nights).. I went and had a session of tapping.. was also prescribed some bach flower remedy.. Ok my advice is.. Stay calm and breathe into all the feelings of anxiety, take a hot bath with Epsom Salts 20 mins before going to bed.. Change your room/habits (I made a bed up in the lounge).. Don't watch the clock.. Meditate, Breathe, let go of your thoughts.. let them drift like clouds, don't try and control them.. Take some passion flower, Melissa, Magnesium supplement.. And don't worry!! If you want any more info/help/advice just ask!
