***AFTER SOME CAREFUL THOUGHT, I'm going to hold on to this new grill until I can find a reasonably priced LCI hood. The plan is to make the old grill work for now, and when I get a new LCI hood, I'll already have the LCI grill to go with it.

      YES!

    • @munro12345

Definitely get the LCI hood. I feel the front of my E91 is very flat looking - the extra ridges down the middle of the LCI one give it a much more aggressive look.
I would pretty much like to copy your front end conversion but M Sport LCI bumpers are pretty expensive in the UK (new). There are a load of M3 pattern bumpers on eBay but I'm a strong believer that M3 parts should only be for M3s ;)

Bs, the E90 was designed by Joji Nagashima , the guy who designed E39. E39 is considered to be timeless design. E90 is also beautiful. Chris Bangle desinged the ugly E60 model, the only thing good about that car is the sound of V10 in M5.

Thanks for this upload Justin. I became the proud owner of a 2007 320I about 6 months ago. Mine has the 2l 4 cylinder enginer. What an amazing car! Air hose was near impossible to put back in. Found a great tip on a forum: use a hair dryer to warm up the hose before putting the air box back in and it slid right in.

You just saved me $222. I bought the Auto Zone kit for $32 which included 5 quarts STP full synthetic oilI, extended life oil filter and ext life air filter. I had to pay an extra $4 for the ext life oil filter and an additional $4 for the ext life air filter plus 2 extra quarts of synthetic oil $8 each) so total came to $56 with tax . I followed your instructions and finished the job in 45 min. Auto Zone takes the old oil for free. The shop quoted me an estimate of $150 for the oil change plus $128 to change out the air filter for a grand total of $278. I paid $56 total after watching your video. Thanks bro🙏🏻

OK, very nice tutorial. I watched this to make sure I didn't forget anything. Only thing I would do differently is diconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector at the clip rather than removing it from the air box. Those things are pretty delicate. The clip, which is about an inch from the MAF box, lifts up with a very small screwdriver. You can see it with a flashlight. Also, be careful not to knock the small rubber bumper of the frame of the car when removing the air box. I found mine sitting on the skid plate the first time I did this filter change. Without the bumper, the filter housing is sitting directly on a screw sticking up. Thanks for the video, very helpfful!

This is an easy maintenance thing to do, no matter your expertise on cars, but I find this box to be a bit...hard to get to for a simple fix. I'm planning on doing a Euro intake box swap to make it easier to work on, but was wondering what you think of doing that. Two of my higher priority mods to my 325i is the 3 stage intake with 330i ECU flash, plus the euro intake...the E90 is just too good of a car to get rid of. I'm at 132k miles and IDK what happens, I'm not getting rid of this car!

  • @TheSydguy30

Ya my E90 / E91 320i took a round or circular filter type, so definitely different as you mentioned with different engine types.
Just got my BMW and done the engine oil, cabin filter, air filter, power steering fluid and coolant so next will be the diff.
Luckily the previous owner has the receipts for transmission being done not so long ago. Can still wait a few years for that one.
Have you got a video on the diff fluid change and have you got one on the fuel filter change as well?

Justin Buice thanks man! No light has come on yet, but I’d open the bonnet after 30min in traffic and an hour or so after long drive, all the pipes connected to the coolant and the coolant housing itself would be in burning temp(untouchable)...I’ve been doing a lot of research online, some suggested doing a coolant bleed to get rid of air bubbles... is this something you’d recommend?
