Well that was certainly fun. I live in NZ , home of Ashfords, I have their Kiwi 2 spinning wheel, their Blending Board and as from a week ago their SampleIt 16 inch loom. I live 5 mins away from an Ashford dealer so guess what I shall be buying on my next visit.. I love your videos, my husband and I call you The Niddy Noddy lady as we had to keep replaying your tutorial over several times when we lost our way loading the yarn..my learning on the spinning wheel is creating some very funky art yarn and I am weaving some now. Gradually the lumps and bumps and thick and thins will smooth out to a consistent thickness....if I repeat this enough times it WILL happen. I hope.

I saw in Kelly Casanova video that on the wet finished you loose all the waves. Is there anyway to keep the design?
I have not seen her video. I don't wet finish my weaving ever (to date) but I'm not a pro, I just do what works for me. For the sample weave in the video, once I took it off the loom the waves were less pronounced, but still there. I haven't done this yet but have a hunch that if the weft yarn used for the wave is a thicker yarn it will keep the design better. I'll try that next.
