@simonpilk You are right...As a director of an Engineering company we see fewer fewer young people wanting to apply....Its all instant gratification on x-factor etc. with no real hard work. We once built a pipe bridge over a road, the client asked for our load calculations etc. We did not have any, we drew it (on paper) it looked right, we built it. It is still standing.
Run these days by people who have little interest in Britain and its people, far more interested in performing worthless acts of political correctness and removing the manufacturing tradition and capability of a once famous country.

The fire hose retirement ceremony was beautiful. It's only fitting that she received the same treatment as retiring pilots!
