At the beginning of June 2023, my boyfriend Danny and I spent two weeks driving the iconic Route 66 from New Mexico to LA in a dream once-in-a-lifetime road trip. Vlogs to come include Route 66, Las Vegas, LA, Universal Studios Hollywood and of course Disneyland California!✨
It’s the first of our Disneyland Resort Anaheim vlogs!! In this vlog we have our first ever day in Disneyland Park 🥹 We experience Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge for the first time, eat lots of yummy Disney snacks, enjoy the infamous Monte Cristo sandwich and Pomme Frites at Cafe Orleans, watch the Magic Happens parade and celebrate Disney’s 100th Anniversary (100 Years of Wonder) in the Happiest Place On Earth 💜✨

I hope you ended up watch Wondrous Journeys from Main Street and not from the hub! Disneylands fireworks are viewed and more immersive from halfway up Main Street. ❤
The problem with loving Dinosaur, is that after you ride Indiana Jones you’ll not love Dinosaur anymore. Indy is sooooo much better.
My wife and I got to ride it right when it opened. But it kept breaking down and we spend almost 5 hours in the line. We could hear it running and we were in the movie room and then it would stop, and everyone would just sit down on the floor. I bet we sat down at least 15 times while waiting before we got through the line.
Last day we did the early hour as we were staying at the Disneyland Hotel, and we would get off of Indy, run up six stairs, hop over the rope, go down six stairs, and get on another safari vehicle. I think we rode it five or six times before the rest of the park opened and the line filled up.
Dinosaur is still one of my favourites at WDW ☺️🦖 Indie was SO good but it was actually down the majority of our time in DLR and when it was up, the line was too long so we only managed to ride it once on this trip!
The main reason the stretching room doesn’t go down at Disney World is because the water table is so close to the surface. They can’t have anything that goes down into the ground. That’s why you don’t see basements in homes in Florida. Magic Kingdom has Util doors below it but that’s because they built the utility doors and then built magic kingdom on top of the utility doors. The utility doors are actually what is at ground level.
How did you get the paper ticket?
when they scan your phone they hand you a ticket before entering the park!
