At the beginning of June 2023, my boyfriend Danny and I spent two weeks driving the iconic Route 66 from New Mexico to LA in a dream once-in-a-lifetime road trip. Vlogs to come include Route 66, Las Vegas, LA, Universal Studios Hollywood and of course Disneyland California!✨
Welcome to Disney Day 4 - the final Disneyland vlog of the series 💔 Come along with us as we cram our last day full of Disney magic. We begin the day in Disney California Adventure, where we start in Pixar Pier and mop-up rides we haven’t yet done on this trip… along with a few faves we couldn’t help but ride again! 🎡 We grab lunch at the infamous Shawarma Palace wraps in Avengers Campus and then park-hop over to Disneyland Park to catch the Disneyland Band and try some more snacks at Cafe Daisy in Toontown.🍕 Back in DCA we try our hand at character sketching at the Animation Academy before moving on to pre-dinner drinks at Pym Tasting Lab. We attend our dinner reservation at Lamplight Lounge (definitely one of the best meals on any of our Disney Trips!) and finish off our holiday in style by celebrating 100 Years of Disney with watching Wondrous Journeys at the Sleeping Beauty Castle! 🏰 🎆

In regards to the fireworks, you were literally standing one block in front of where you should’ve been standing at Disneyland. All the locals know that the fireworks are best viewed at Disneyland halfway up Main Street in front of Carnation Café. The reason for this is exactly what you’re saying is that where you were standing, you’re too far away from the castle to see projections but if you’re in Main Street, you see the same projections and you also get the best view of all the fireworks, avoid all the tall trees, while feeling immersed into the story and the projections. I’m thinking you missed most of the storyline because you couldn’t see the projections as well. Standing halfway up Main Street at Disneyland is about the same distance as standing at the back of the hub at WDW to the fireworks.
