I am Pakistani and RM-269 (R-CTS1843), but I am 0% European. My family history, which also goes back hundreds of years, shows no links to Europe. My male ancestors supposedly originated in Arabia, but that could be wrong. More likely, they originated somewhere in Central Asia. I know RM-269 is very dominant in Western Europe, but I think it's common (10% to 15%) all over Western Asia/Middle East as well. Personally, I don't think it matters.
@@coppertopv365 That is certainly possible. But it could have come from northern Iraq or Armenia as well where RM-269 is common. Another possibility is Egypt. King Tut was RM-269, surprisingly. A lot of Jewish people are RM-269. That's why I am mystified.
There is also some family history that our ancestors originally came from Iraq and Anatolia. The more I think about it, it seems that my ancestors were Hittites. King Tut's dynasty might have been Hittite too.
