Happy 500! Good to see the ducks. I guess we have to be satisfied with icons of Stanley and Mr. Scissors. Perhaps they will appear in person in video 1000. I have been pondering what sort of video you can do featuring the Pi-5. (And yes, I think about the channel fairly often.) It occurs to me that the Pi-5's two camera inputs can be used to make a 3D digitizer. These are extremely popular with people who own 3D printers, but they are more than a little pricey. In addition to using the two cameras, you could control a servo to turn a turntable in precise increments. The model you wanted to digitize would go on the turntable, and the Pi would take a series of pictures. The pictures could then be assembled into a 3D model in Blender or some other appropriate software. You could even get ChatGPT to write the code needed to drive the servo and the cameras.

Congrats on the 500th episode. It's a pleasure to watch a video every Sunday and on special occasions for release news too. Thanks Chris. 🎬5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣
500!!! I will have to try a marathon watch of all your videos. Love seeing another single board computer, especially with new technology.
Probably the only channel I look at to get general comparisons of SBC. I've been looking at getting a RISC-V board in the future so the videos here give a good real-world demonstration.
Congratulations, well done on hitting the 500th episode mark.
Congratulations! Love your videos, website and interviews.
Congratulations, Chris! Also, that was a very nice effect at the end with the shirt! And for the 500th video, I've joined the channel!
Thanks for becoming a channel member. Hopefully you have found the member videos?
Yes, I have! Thanks.@@ExplainingComputers
Congrats on another huge milestone, Chris! It's always great to have one of your videos pop up on my feed :)
Wow, what a lot of progress. Can't recall when I came in but must be 5 or 6 years now. And I can attest the website works perfectly well on a slow connection using an old browser!
Another 500 videos to come, and I expect I'll be here for every one.
PS. Black shirt. Definitely the black shirt.
Congratulations on the milestone. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour down memory lane and that RGB shirt is pretty wild!
I first started watching this channel in 2018 when I first got my Raspberry Pi (3B+) and needed some tips and pointers on using it for assignments. Your channel was one of the first ones to come up in my search and it was a big help in getting to know the Pi. Still watching and each new video is anticipated.
Well done and thank you.
Looking forward to the next 500!
Congrats for your 500 HQ videos, Chris. Wishing you good health too see yet another 500 more! BTW, great job updating your website...! Thanks for taking the time.
Congratulations on 500 episodes, nearly 15 years 🎉
