Untapped potential: Mike Barwis at TEDxUofM

Mike Barwis is the founder and CEO of the Barwis Methods family of companies, and a consultant to the NY Mets. He was formerly the Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Michigan. During his career, he has trained over 500 professional and Olympic athletes, as well as college All-Americans, national champions, national and international competitors and medalists in over 40 sports.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

So amazing and truly inspiring. People like Mike Barwis make this planet a better world. This is such a beautiful story. If we all take time to be caring to others, we all would be cared for. It sounds simple but its so true. Every day we should be thankful for what we have and be loving towards those who may have forgotten or is dealing with issues that may make them feel sad. If we take the time to really try and make people feel better about themselves, that love spreads and continues and we all want to live in a world where there is love and happiness.

I've known Mike for years. He is a monster in his field. I learned more through osmosis sitting next to that man than I ever learned in a book. What he is doing is amazing. Mike is doing what God put him on this Earth to do. Truly awesome.
