Solid comparison. E9x m3 is def the closest bmw to a v8 vantage. Couple of notes: From 2012.75 and on, the V8V received the quicker rack and brakes from the S. Big improvement, imo. I also think the standard car’s suspension is better for the street. Even then, the rears feel a little underdamped (or too highly sprung). The VelocityAP clutch seems like a must now. My 2014 has an original clutch and the blips are heavy and slow, esp initial throttle tip in. Otherwise, you’re hitting the nail with the two cars. Good stuffff
Fantastic comparo! An Autosolutions short throw shifter kit does wonders in BMW's, but yes-stock leaves a lot to be desired.
The V8 Aston Martin sounds so so much better than the V6 Toyota/Lotus supercharger 😍👍🇬🇧
Agreed
The poly bushing for the diff on the M3 is from Powerflex?
Really interesting comparison! Keep them coming man

Would be great to compare pre and post 2012 on similar roads. This road is so different to where I drove yours that it’s hard to compare
Just 20 seconds in the Aston, that V8, that interior. 20K more is worth it. F practicality! The kids can take a bus to school 🤣
First?
