one good tip for the fender liners. Heat the crap out of them, air out the car and the tire will strech them perfectly. second. dont forget to hammer down the locking nut for the front strut height adjustment. ther are well known to get loose and snap the air leader hose
The V2 settings on your Mk4 wagon are spot on 👍🏻 I love the new look of this car at the lowest bag settings. Just the right height between the tires/wheels and the fenders all the way around this car 😎
she looks good for sure, I would just suggest drop/centering plates for the rear to center it up bit, Mk4's once dropped have a tendency to shift the wheel's forward, Ecs as some that go under the rear beam or fabless manufacturing if they still make there idf clone ones but i get you dont want any more camber which the fabless ones give you about -2ish, i'm sitting at about -8.5 all around on my static mk4 jetta setup at the moment lol
Water literally goes there anyways 😂 exactly why mk4 fenders rust out because dirt and stuff gets behind the fender liner. Just gotta keep it cleaned out and thanks man!
I'd consider getting gen 2 xenons with the built in ballast. Or send your headlights to vx tuning to get them converted. Save the hassle and potential fire risk of that harness having less protection with that pinch weld flattened a bit. Will also give you a bit more room aswell ☺️
Hi Smith…first of all congratulations for your work and videos…keep doing those works…!!! Tell you that in the Jetta you have the typical problem in the rear axle of the VAG group, the rear axles are all moved to one side a few millimeters... and when you put a tire looking for an adjustment, what happens to you, one wheel is perfect and the other a few millimeters further in or out... you can solve it by visiting an alignment shop to loosen the bridge and patiently take it to the site, or, inserting a spacer/adapter about 3mm wider on one side than the other... in my car for example, I had a 7mm spacer and a 9mm spacer on each side to adjust that difference so that it would stick when going down with the tire... greetings and I hope the experiences of some engine burns will help you 😅😅😅😅 a hug!!!
Those 20mm rear spacers don't have a center for the wheel to sit on which is a little bit dangerous and it might cause a bit of a vibration in the steering.. Is it possible to get spigot rings to poke from the wheels and fit into those rear spacers?
Does the car allready have a rear wheel relocate kit? to center the rear wheel in the arch. I've got one that has camber and lowering as well, but you can get them without.

Instead of cutting the fender liner if you use a heatgun you can maybe reshape it so it fit the tire

I was looking at those tbh but idk if I wanna run more camber. But maybe. I do like how the wheel looks more centered
Came to the comment section to recommend that same thing but checked to make sure someone else hadn’t mentioned it first lol 😂
Now the Water goes to the back off the fender and rust. Good work i love the stance off the wagon

Crazy how much suspension and wheels can make a difference 🔥🔥
Looks sick and the way you did seems so simple. makes me want to do this to my Jetta sedan.
Damn. Wagon is looking perfect dude. Really love this setup!!👍

Bro you're such an inspiration, without a doubt
Looks awesome!! Just need some drop plates from Fabless now.

I love you wagon❤❤
Arent your little flaps of cut fender liner gonna drag over your tyres when it simply "clicked" back up?
Exactly, if it hits the tire while driving, it can even damage the fender.
No? I’m not driving with the car aired out. Drove it around all day zero issues
U have to try a set of small wheels and she will lay frame
This aint my type but glad you liking it
Love the wagon. What type of adaptors are you running @christiansmith?
did you already checked your rear axle? i had the problem that my axle already touching the frame of the car, so i cant get any lower :D
I haven’t checked yet but I know I’m not hitting it yet. I’d feel it when airing out but I’m sure it’s close haha
non hub-centric 20mm adaptors? Any vibration?
Hub centric to the car 57.1 but not to the wheel. Zero issues though
You need a notch
So You can lower in front
Already notched
Hermoso vw y que buen gusto tienes hermano
Is this a VR6 swap?
Nope factory 12v vr6 5spd

That doesn't fit, it rubs. This is a dumb trend like squatted trucks or camber
