Thanks for taking the time to make and post this bikerdood 😊 We couldn't make it to the Open House this year on our California, your video reminded me of what we'd missed. Rheims is a lovely city and the old circuit is a great little visit. The weekend in Mandello is a must for any Guzzi owner and for anybody who loves bikes in general. Thanks again 😀
@@chrisweeks6973 I know what you mean Chris. One of my favourite YTubers is LittleGhostGriso, based on the south island in NZ. Absolutely wonderful place to ride, but I know I'll never do it. It's one of the reasons that I love YT, guys like these living it for us. Ride safe, have a great summer 😁
@@paulstokes393 Same for me, Paul. YT makes the ride nice, even if it is vicarious. Being in West Oz we have good riding weather, but most of the good riding roads are on the other side of the island. Perth to Melbourne is about the same distance as London to Tel Aviv.
I’ve always wanted to go with my V7 but have been put off that accommodation would be unavailable and the town too busy. What days were you there and how about some more logistics … wheat happened to the breva?
Your confused 🫤 We went to Mandello del Lario Stelvio is a mountain pass The other was my Guzzi Breva 1100 The Honda is in New York awaiting a boat, another story The Breva is Home and running The Honda carried us across America But much more of that in later videos America will take a long time to cover and we won’t to get Guzzi Open house out of the way in a single stand alone
@bikerdood1100 My first time i went to both the Motoguzzi factory and the Stelvio pass. Was in the late 60s On my 650 Triumph. The second time was in 1971 On my Trident750. I have been several times since. One of my friends wants to go to Europe on his Gs 1250, I have suggested both lake como, the factory, and the Stelvio pass. So i have been looking for a video He can get some idea what i was suggesting.
Just seeing the V8 in person made it all worthwhile! Thx for the video and glad you are both are home safe and sound.
That V8 is something else
Extraordinary, mad and beautiful
Definitely a touch of crazy in its make up
Thanks for taking the time to make and post this bikerdood 😊

Definitely
Very much a must do
I'm envious; as the owner of a 750 Breva, I'd love to go to the Guzzi museum!
The open house is definitely worth the trip
So many beautiful bikes all in one place
I'd recommend it, it's a fantastic event held in a fabulous place 😊
@@paulstokes393 Thanks, Paul... Sadly, it's just a bit far from Australia, however!

Great video! 👍👍
Thanks
Was a great trip
I do love my Guzzis! Got a few.
It can become something of an addiction 😂
@@bikerdood1100 - I’ve got to agree there! I have a Spada 1000, LeMans 2, California 3 & a 750 Monza
Rode a V11 Le Mans down to the 80th bash. Great fun.
Definitely

You’d be surprised I think
Book relatively early and it’s not too difficult to find accommodation to be honest
Update on the Breva?
Got her home and had her fire up in 20 minutes 🤷🏻
I am a little confused, Did you get to the Stelvio
What happened to the other bike was it a Honda or guzzi.
Your confused 🫤
We went to Mandello del Lario
Stelvio is a mountain pass

The Honda is in New York awaiting a boat, another story
The Breva is Home and running
The Honda carried us across America

How did you get your other bike home.?.
RAC
She is home and I got her fired up in about 10 minutes
Duff ignition switch 🤷🏼
Nepalese flag.?.
Yes
Not on that particular bike though
Ditto India and a few other places besides
We get around a fair bit 😂
@@bikerdood1100 if you decide a trip to Nepal. Please remember me.
Odd. These younger fuel-injected bikes seem to have a few ‘issues’. I have 3 much older Guzzis which always start and run OK. (1979, 1981 & 1981).
Well in the end it was the ignition switch at the bottom of the key barrel
Had it running in a few minutes when we got her back after I bypassed it
@@bikerdood1100 - that is familiar! My LeMans & Spada had ‘intermittent’ ignition switches. The contacts randomly stopped conducting
