I bought this game on Steam a long time ago, completed the tutorial and got overwhelmed, so left it. I now feel that I want to play again in 2021, so this is exactly what I needed to learn (properly and all over again) how to begin my small prison. You have a very calm voice which helps immensely too, thank you.

Thanks very much i was so stuck because its a pretty complex game but with this i may be able to do it.
Im on switch so things look different but its still VERY Usefull, i got the game made a prison with holding cell but then i forgot the whole thing 1 year later,
But the u helped me and now Im gonna build a basic prison

I play on console, and am asking what’s a good starting money range? There is 50 000, 100 000, 200 000 and 500 000.
What would you recommend?
100k is a comfortable start, but make sure you get workshops up as soon as you can

Great video, but you forgot to mention that you can't run electricity or water through the perimeter wall. However, usually you use perimeter walls at the perimeter anyway, so it doesn't matter.

I’m confused on how to use a canteen for staff only on Xbox one?? It keeps saying “no prisoners are assigned to this canteen” even though I don’t want prisoners to eat in there just the staff and I’ve tried putting a serving table in the staff room but the kitchen doesn’t put food on it

Do your staff need a canteen? You may be playing on the setting wher the only needs your staff have are to use the staff room for tiredness.
You can use logistics to assign prisoners to the canteen- providing they can legitimately route there.
when i build the foundation the staff ignore it

Umm, help? I create a cell and it says that it isn’t surrounded by walls when it obviously is, how can I fix that?
Make sure you haven't zoned the doorway as a cell, this is a common mistake
I cant believe a game this good is free
How do u keep the items showing after ordering it because everytime I order a certain item it goes away when I click on another one so I keep loosing track where to build the next one next to the previous item.

Once you get familiar with it, sure, play with a podcast going. However, you are more than likely going to focus on this rather than the podcast!

It does look interesting and your presentation is simple to follow. If I do get in to this game I will now be far better prepared than I ever was with WOT.

What I don't like is when you get the symbol of something is missing in a room.It will say missing a toilet when you see there is one.What is that a glitch?
Not played in a while now, I don't remember any symbol showing of a missing toilet- can you screenshot it? Also, are you playing console or PC?
joeteegee Console PS4 version.Tutorial of the game is little to no help.I'm actually doing story mode.Trying to build a solitary confinement building and is still not good enough.Is asking me to build that holds 10 inmates.I mean really the game does not walk me through creating the shit.

Yes, only UI changes since this guide and some features added that don't change things shown in this guide. Controls, as you say, will be different.

I did enjoy these 3 episodes and it was quite usefull. Thanks a lot for that. And after that I saw all those videos on Rimworld on your channel. I might be interested in this game and wanted to know your opinion on the current state of the game. i see it's been put on sleep mode for 6 months .. it doesn't look good for the future or what ?
+HanzsKlopek I would highly recommend Rimworld. Even though it's in Alpha, it's a feature rich alpha. The last couple really brought the game along, with the addition of animals that you can tame (and order to attack, haul or protect). Tynan, the developer, has taken a well earned break, but I don't feel it's been abandoned. Even if the game was released as it is, it's still in great shape. Well worth $30, you'll get tens of hours of gameplay out of it
