When I first started prison architect I put a large jail door as the entrance and I was wandering why so many prisoners were escaping but then I realised it was because they were leaving whenever they wanted XD
NO NO NO Blitz when you put large pipes in the prisoner cells it gives them a chance to escape i would suggest running the pipe down the main corridor once its installed you cant see it anyway so its not a problem and then just run small pipes into the cells to the toilets because prisoners cant tunnel through small pipes like they can large ones. :)
You were correct. The builders cannot access the inside block of a + so were unable to build those power cables. Nice looking start. To save money and for security, best to use only small pipes within the cell like your remodel. Reason is that prisoners can go all shawshank with the large pipes. Nope, don't have to directly connect to the existing wire that shows when you build something. That is a bit of legacy.
Don't put large pipe under the cell directly did you watch shawshank redemption there are reference to it on the big pipe case (the prisoner can dig to them and escape somehow even if there are no used water output

All my prisoners have bookshelves, and are really addicted to narcotics...YYYeeaahhhhh, so that means i have to search a EVERY SINGLE BOX/CRATE/BUILDING ITEM/THINGY to make sure they aren't smuggling narcotics, and the other items they want, also i forgot to say, they smuggle the items in THEIR FOOD, so that means i have to SEARCH EVERY SINGLE FOOD PLATE/MEAL.
Idk if you already found this out but 1 mega tips Make a patrolroute through the food storage or or storage and put 1 or 2 dog in it they'l sniff out the boxes i think hope i helped you i just got this game yesterday

There is an easy way to counter it and just make sleep free time. Likely they will still sleep

I can't wait to play this. Seems way easier and intuitive than Prison Tycoon...where I went bankrupt in a month.

Also, you do not have to connect the power lines to the lines extruding from the object, you can just connect it directly.
