If a brand wants to call to see if you're a good fit, what types of things are usually discussed in the call? I want to get into copywriting but I also have anxiety so knowing roughly what they'd say would make me feel better
Search up “typical questions in a Job interview”, and rehearse on how to answer each question professionally. Most job interviews consist of the same traditional questions, such as “why do you think you’re a fit to this job”, “tell us about you”, “what is your expected salary”, “how will you contribute with this work”. All of the answers must be related to the job, eg when they ask you about yourself don’t tell them things from your personal life (which many think this question is about), but tell them about skills, talents and experiences that you have that is a match to this job.
Thanks for watching & for your comment. It's great that you want to get into copywriting and I understand your anxiety about the phone call. It's important to remember that the call is an opportunity to establish yourself and close the sale. To take the pressure off, I'd lead the conversation. It's a good idea to ask the brand what their goals are and what they are looking for in a copywriter. Additionally, it's helpful to be prepared to discuss your experience, skills, and any relevant projects you have worked on. In terms of what types of things are usually discussed in the call... it can vary depending on the brand and their needs. Usually, they'll ask about your experience, the timeline, and the budget. Again, i would encourage leading the convo and giving them this info upfront/asking them questions. I hope this information helps (:
Hey Denee, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I loved your videos. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts for you to grow your business.
