I think this song could end up being phenomenal live. Certainly wouldn't skip this when it plays on shuffle
First hearing it I had my doubts. The more I hear it the more I like it and honestly its really good now
There are a couple transitions in the song that felt a bit awkward but the song as a whole is not bad. Definitely agree that there are some nice blues elements mixed with the thrash. I think the standout on this album is going to be how good James sounds.
It's lyrics are dark, but it contrasts well with the upbeat tempo of the music and it kind of gives you hope and motivation to blast through whatever shit you're going through.
His vocals on the two new singles are amazing! his voice seems to be getting really good again as he gets older 🤘🤘 It's never going to be like their old stuff it's time people move away from those types of comments. I really like the direction they're going with this album it'll never get me the same way the classics do but it's still good in my opinion.
This song goes hard with the main riff, love the vocal lines James has come up with to.

I honestly liked the song when it came out, it definitely has an awesome vibe and since we have this and Lux I’m definitely stoked for the new album
Early to a chainbrain video, this is wild
I agree, the resolution on the first two choruses feels very anti-climactic. The last chorus and outro are fantastic though! It feels like the song is finally starting to take off and be something awesome and then ends a little too soon for me. Still a solid track, and thank God that the lead guitar work is better. It's a 7/10 for me

Tbh, I had the same reaction as you about the chorus part, the ending of it sounds weird. But the more I listen to it the better it sounds to my ear.
