Hey, what's up with your travel "camp" that you had the survey for that will be partially funded? I was interested in it, but nothing came up since.
@@iammz81 Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, the company wasn't flexible enough to let me design the trip as needed to make it something special. So I didn't end up working with them. It will take a bit but a trip is coming. I build one myself now.
@@pascalbasel good news. How to get information about it once realized?

So well put together. Clear, practical, useful and also very enjoyable to watch. A great reference to remind ourselves that it’s these points done well that take us most of the way to great videography 👍

I wish this coming christmas that i can have a camera like you are using ...merry Christmas
Merry Christmas. If money is an issue, look into the X-S20, a6700 or FX30. All great cameras at quite affordable prices and good lens choices.
Well said
Wish this was around when I started. Covers everything would've saved me hundreds of hours.

Hi Pascal I’m very interested in your course but my English is not so good, I can understand you in your UA-cam vides thanks to the subtitles, are there subtitles in your course video?
Congratulations you got a subscription ❤
This is great info. Can you make one utilizing a camera from a smartphone. I know. I know. Real photographers look down on it but not all of us can afford camera gear. Thanks.
Ok Pascal nice video!
Now i want to see a CINEMATIC VIDEO from you 😉
Plenty on my channel
Привет! Спасибо большое за этот ролик! :)))) Очень жаль, что полгода назад я его не нашёл. Еще раз повторил с тобой всё-то, что вытаскивал по крупицам из десятков других гайдов.
Sangat bagus sekali❤
Good video...
Great 😃

Great video! Lots of useful info. I do think you shouldn't get a cheap tripod. I don't think anyone should put their expensive gear on a potentially risky tripod. I've used cheap tripods before and I'm always scared of it falling and breaking my camera/lens. I'd recommend to save the money to get a better tripod like Manfrotto, which I use nowadays.

This is an amazing video, thank you for sharing! I have a Fuji XT4 and XS10 and do travel videos, one thing I am still struggling a lot is with panning / tilting video shots, the OIS makes it look quite jittery but if I take off OIS sometimes I also have too much jittery movement, any recommendations?? Thank you!!
add more stabilization in the edit
@@pascalbasel thank you replying, I’ll give it a try 😃

I bought this phone for just camera performance .
1:45 "shooting intentionally" I have a great example of this. I was a professional artist/ painter for 11 years. We painted photorealistic paintings that sold for millions of dollars and hung in some very large museums and sold to "famous" collectors. I was one of the painters who worked there. All the painters were very skilled. But we had somebody who worked on the computers who was passionate about art/painting but didn't really build up his technique or craft. He shifted away from painting, because it's very craft oriented and very difficult, and instead he spent about $30,000 on expensive camera equipment. He then went to the zoo to photograph animals with one of our painter co-workers who only had a cheaper $1,000 camera. The one with the expensive camera who didn't think like an artist just started shooting randomly. He took a thousand photos and just hoped one of them would turn out well. Yet the talented painter had way better photos. And it's not because he understood exposure or f stops or whatever. In fact, I'll guarantee the computer guy understood the f stops and shutter speeds way better than the painter. But the painter had far better images because he knew what he was going for and knew how to frame the image, knew what lighting looks good, and knew how to tell a story with an image.

How do you feel about voiceovers for travel videos, should you do them? Or is it better to let the footage and the music tell the story alone?
Voice overs are great
Love from Pakistan
Very inspirational :). And a bit depressing, because the bar is quite high :)
😍😍
👍
Amazing colour grading. Did you shoot it on Fuji?
Thanks, mostly on Fuji but also some Sony shots in there.
Brother i need your help
Is it possible to use both a variable ND filter and the mist filter at the same time?
Yes, but it depends on which filters you use. Freewell can do that, the Swift Mist Kit from NiSi and the new Peter McKinnon Recon from PolarPro. There are also VND + Mist filters available.
The german akzent is strong in you, diggi 😅 🙌
