Your instructions to the blanket are the easiest to follow. Thank you. I crocheted this blanket 45 years ago for my son and now doing it again for my grandchild. Still have the original. I needed a refresher and after searching and reading other patterns, found you. 👏🏼 clear and concise

Decided to do this lovely stitch for a baby blanket….I chained 118 ..did row 1 and row 7 in white and will also do the borders in white ..Rows 2 -6 are in .pastel green ..using ‘pound of love’ it recommends using hook 6. I did the chain in hook 6 but it seemed to me to loose so redid used hook 5 and as loose as I could. The body I did in hook 5, however I feel my start chain is still rather tight…. I am glad I didn’t use the recommended hook 6 for the body, as hook 5 is rather loose…. I think onceI have finished the blanket, I will wash and block it and hopefully it will look better….
Love your tutorial fiber spider thank you, your tutorials are always relaxing and calm, love the stitch, very easy to work ….thanks from Australia…. Always love your “ Chit chat “. Lol.

Thank you so much for great tutorials! I only started crocheting 9 months ago and without these videos I would not have progressed as quickly. I have already crocheted 6 blankets (one was the granny virus shawl which was a challenge but looks fantastic),2 scarfs and 6 shawls, some I have beaded. I crocheted your butterfly blanket which looks beautiful and now this one for my great niece. Your enthusiasm is contagious and your comments always brings a smile to my face. Thank you so much for spending the time to share and please do not stop. 👍🕷

I've been crocheting longer than you've been in existence, and I've watched too many tutorials to count. You are in the top three crochet tutors I've Ever seen, with my top three being equally rated. I give you and your method five ⭐'s out of five, and that's saying a lot. You crochet EXACTLY like I do, going back when the yarn slips off the hook or when the yarn ply decides to split. UGH!!!
Thank you for sharing such an excellent tutorial!!!

I’m in England, so read Trebbles for your doubles, but so easy to see your stitches as you work. Xx

Am a newbie on your tutorial videos, must say i love your dedication and love with/ for your fiber art. I like to think of myself as a fiber artist as well. These 63-year-old hungry hands of mine have played and co-created much-woven crafts with many materialials, natural or synthetic. Yet the crochet hook has me hooked. The simplicity of the creation of its art makes it very transportable. One of your commentators mentioned how e enjoys your soothing voice and i will add to your style of tutoring. After i find and look for some other crochet creation i plan to make and follow i ike to check out if you have it and how you have 'tweaked' it. More oft than not i find your changes cleaner. So far i have co-created with you. Loved making the lost Souls Skulls one. Presently am working on the Midwife's blanket , and am glad i checked out your version first before. starting the 'other ' pattern i found :). So enough said, back to c--creating with you :)

My daughter is carrying my first grandbaby, (s)he will arrive around Halloween and I did so want to make this blanket especially after seeing it on Call The Midwife, I fell in love with it. I hunted down the original pattern and had a horrible time making sense of it and came on YT and was so so happy to find that my favorite Fiber Spider did at tutorial on this! I'm actually making this in snow white with Patons Beehive yarn which was what the original pattern from way back called for. It's turning out beautifully, I've finished a couple of the repeats, and it's super soft. I'm really enjoying the pattern and look forward to seeing how it will look when it's blocked. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for this brilliant tutorial.
Just started a baby blanket with worsted wt cotton and 4 repeats of the squares.
You've made it so easy to follow along, as well as putting down the start times for each row. YT is being a goob and every time I do anything else it goes back to the beginning so those index times make it easy to find my place again.
I just need to go subscribe. Can't wait to see what else you've got in store!
