I would love a Course that dive deep down to the core of how render engines are working, the fundamentals, the physics, how is light calculated in those engines and everything about them! there is not alot of convenient and well explained resources on the subject and I really want to know more!
Well, well:) I started doing a new project and from the beginning had a problem with light. Then I saw your video today, Only by switching to cycles from eevee made everything light up way better! Awesome video, thanks a bunch!
@@cg_cookie I am kind of an advanced beginner, can find myself pretty easy around Blender now:) I've been following your channel only a little bit, as youtube is so overwhelmed with content. I am like a spoiled child with so many toys! You have lots of stuff I can learn from. Amazing, thanks!
i have the older course with Kent Trammell, I really loved it, sadly it doesn't cover eevee but still I always go back to that course to refresh some of my knowledge
I joined for a trial but there was no options to switch from 1080p to 360p for the new courses. Being stuck with low bandwidth I can't watch any of the videos. I was a citizen two years ago and back then this wasn't the case. Was really looking forward to learn. 😢

bout time for a through light tutorial. I always have problems figuring out good lighting n I'm defently going to be using this in my current n future projects. Thanks so much for easy thourough explination. :D
Everyone just says the speed of light is 300,000 km/s and I always wonder why I bothered to memorize that it's 299,792,458 m/s when I took high school physics. I now have a BS in Mech Engineering and in every single class everyone just rounded up. That's cheating.
I'm a graphics developer, watching this video was like going back to school :) Thank you !
As a beginners it's informative for me. Thanks.

There's a darn good chance that's on our roadmap. :)
Like always, the best courses in this community. Thanks for the great work! Im going to "Up my lighting game" :D
OMG i waited so mush for a course just like that!!!! im so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay! Glad it helped. Happy Blending!

Thanks for this
this is awesome!
Necessary!! O_O I was waiting for this! Tee hee!

Excuse me did he actually create a whole studio in blender just to get studio lighting
Honestly that amps the realism quite a bit since the equipment itself creates actionable consequences on the light emitted.
hi where can i get the lighting props like the studio you used in demonstration
It's cool.

6:18 24s in cycles??? that render???

Can u pls make an tutorial on slingshot physics can u pls tell how to simulate the rubber band of the slingshot pls
Play with the cloth simulator
Great piece of tutorial but could you go slowly not everyone is english speaking ;)
Put playback speed at 76 %
We know *exactly* how light transport works in any way that is relevant to rendering. Not sure what this nonsense about "nobody knows" is about?
