The ONLY reason I still use the xbox is 2 reasons: Game sharing with another family member and the region less restrictions on game keys to allow for up to 90% discounted game keys. Xbox has an identity crisis at least for long standing customers who bought into their hardware ecosystem. While I have PS5 and PC now, its unfortunate to see the downward spiral of the Xbox brand.

Two gens late for this... Nintendo exiting the race was the beginning of the end, the seventh gen was the last of the console wars. By the end of that era games were well into being homogenized and available also in PC.
Due to the digital market, started during the PS3/360 generation, digital purchases further fused players to a particular console brand, which Sony dominated last generation. This further placed more nails into Xbox's coffin. Also, back in 2000, the PS2 was going to become the living room controlling media/game player, which scared MS,which is why Xbox arrived in 2001. The living room today means nothing, for most gamers exclusively use their smart phones today everywhere. Consoles will be more of a shrinking niche market in the future and gaming will remain portable on handheld devices. Personally, I enjoy my Xbox Series X, PS4, Neo Geo, Snes, 2600, etc. The only game on my Smartphone is called MS Solitaire, but I'm an old console/arcade gamer.

Good video! Ive been with xbox since the OG. Because of the exclusives. My series X now feels "meh" and that i should have bought my ps5 much much earlier. Xbox havent been good on how they keep their "exclusives" (if any by this point) and i feel i made a mistake on sticking to xbox another generation. I actually think xbox has won. You see playsation can't make games anymore. Spiderman 2 was a failure which it wasn't supposed to be. Xbox just makes extra money.
