This video is from an alternate universe where a guitarist named Kirk Hammett played in a band with Cliff Barton and wrote a song called Enter Sandman from the Ride the Lighting album
Yeah I agree a lot of things with this story don't make sense like Enter Sandman on Ride the Lightning I was like three albums later who ever made this video definitely needs to do some more research plus Dave Mustaine was a founding member of Metallica they made him seem like he was just a nobody musician that was in the band
Enter Sandman was not on the Ride the Lightning album. Ride the Lightning was recorded when Cliff Burton was still alive and released on Megaforce records label in 1984. The 3rd album, Master Of Puppets was released in 1986 and was the last album with Cliff Burton on Bass Guitar. In 1988 ...And Justice for All was released featuring new bassist Jason Newsted who replaced Cliff after his untimely death in a bus accident. This was the album featuring the single "One" which saw the band produce it's first video for Mtv and was a fixture in every hour rotation shortly after premiering on the show HeadBangers Ball...This exposure led to the song getting airplay on mainstream radio stations. Something up till now that hadn't been done. The band reached its huge fan base with little to no airplay. Then after nearly a 5 year wait, the self titled album, their 5th LP also known as The Black Album was released in 1991 and featured the single Enter Sandman. It would be the first of many singles to hit the metal charts and airwaves and arguably launched the band into Super-Stardom. Please, if your going to produce these biography videos, check your information...
Easter eggs! How many errors did you find?! Think he left out the time when Kirk saw Bigfoot when he was riding the Loch ness monster with Nesferatu and Dracula.
Enter sandman is on the top secret available only on Tuesday35th at 3:01 am version of Ride the Lightning. Also, you have to play it backwards while pledging your soul to the devil. But it's there! It also features Cliff Barton T 6:01. Cliff Barton was eventually replaced with Cliff Burton and then killed off because he was a better bass player than Cliff Barton.
Cliff was also educated in music and was into classical as well as metal which shows in his music with the band and the only member of Metallica who could read music.
1:43 Kirk has been described by nobody as "The long lost brother of Chris Cornell, but, with the voice of a buzzard and still alive". He has gone on record as saying "My mole was valued at 10 of Mr. T's 14 gold chains". Our sources for this wish to remain hallucinatory. Did you know Kirk wrote and performed at least one music?
R.I.P CLIFF BURTON💚!! LOVE METALLICA AND KIRK DESERVES ALL THE HAPPINESS IN HIS WORLD AND EVERYTHING THAT HES ACCOMPLISHED AND HE IS TRULY AN INSPIRATION!💚👍🏼
Kirks most famous song seek and destroy was the first single released on reload,he sometimes looks like lars ulrich, has a dog called Darla, even though it says Hoku on the photograph. He was also James hetfield when he was younger!??! Who is this you tuber?!!
I guess they forgot about the fact he wrote the main riff for Enter Sandman their most successful song. As well as the breakdown riff of Creeping Death (DIE DIE DIE) one of the best Middle parts of any of their songs.
Enter Sandman was not on Ride the Lightning, it was on the self titled "black" album which came albums later. Also the picture you use when you mention Master of Puppets is actually from Garage Days Re-revisited, which is what it sounds like, a album full of covers they did so good on. Also Cliff BURTON, NOT Barton. Thanks
I thought Enter Sandman was only on the Black Album. I never know it was also a hidden track on Ride the Lightning. Nice Teen Beat profile with his height, and eye color, by the way. I'm sure you would have made Cliff "Barton" proud.
Tell me you don't know anything about Metallica without telling me you don't know anything about Metallica: "[Kirk] contributed riffs for the second album of Metallica, Ride the Lightning. The album included the track Enter Sandman...."
I met Kirk in the town of Dublin (bay atea) at a music shop I believe was owned by one of his relatives. I was 16. The year 1985. I was there to buy a pack of guitar strings. Kirk came walking out from the room behind the register. I recognized him instantly. I was a big fan. Listened to 'Kill em All' practically everyday. He said to me "hey, buy a guitar and I'll sign it for you!" I didn't know what to say, I was star struck nervous and replied " I wish I could, I'm just here to buy some strings." He curled his lip at me put his nose up in the air and made a tssss sound and walked back in the back room. I felt like an idiot. But later I just thought - what an asshole! I didn't like him for years. But I'd like to think that now, maybe, he has grown up and ditched that pompous attitude and treats his fans right. That was a degrading experience for me. Doubt he remembers, but I'll never forget it.
Hmm, you mentioned the track Enter Sandman around 5:18 was included in the album Ride The Lightning, that statement is inaccurate, the track was included on Metallica's Black album that came out in 1991.
Kirk has writing credits on many songs from Ride the Lightning. Trapped Under Ice, for instance, is also an Exodus song called Impaler from the 2004 album Tempo of the Damned.
Damn. Cliff BARTON? And Enter sandman on Ride the lightning? Damn. You didn’t try at all did you.
lol!
It's Cliff Breton right?
Also calling "Broken, Beaten, Scarred", "Now That We're Dead", and "All Nightmare Long" some of their biggest songs
I appreciate how bad it actually was.
You might say Kirk's lifestyle didn't actually do much to determine their writestyle.
Nice work, you pissed off every Metallica fan.
Hahahaa 😀
✌😆
Kirk hammet was addicted to cocaine
Kirk hammet also collects comic books
😳
Not hard to do
@@doomzy8622 I always heard that cocaine was the window drug to collecting comics
Enter Sandman is on “Metallica”(The Black Album)
And James built that chromed out Buik, that's his car, not Kirk's car. Take care man.
Yeah.. noticing these things..🤔
No man Ride the lightning 😂😂
@linux maximus 😂😂😂😭

“Broken, Now That Were Dead, and All Nightmare Long are some of Kirks most famous songs”

I’m glad this dude has his facts right .crazy
I dont want to pick favorites, but I just love Kirk Hammet and he motivates me most stick to shredding the guitar like this legend!
He’s only one of 4 people that get to say “my band” and be talking about metallica and that has to be the best feeling.
Bro, how do you mess up Sandman being on Ride The Lightening? Lol
Right...Not even close...what a joke
4:04 but that's not Kirk!
Yup. James family not kirks😜
Like what the hell made them think that was Kirk.

also lars eating the spaghetti not kirk.

I bet this guy probably didn't do his homework in school either.
Why did it show Lars eating spaghetti and not Kirk?
I really love Hammett guitaring
In my opinion Kirk is by far the best guitarist I’ve ever heard.

Did you know Cliff was the first member of Metallica Kirk met. They bonded first. It's why he still breaks when talking about Cliff.
