I worked with her when I was a young student. She's taken me to a few concerts with limo, backstage and everything. It was awesome! She's so pretty and goes by the name Sash. ❤❤
The Conrad We both worked together for about 4+ yrs for GSA, a Federal Govt Agency in San Fran. That's why I was lucky enough to get invited. She still lives in the home where a she raised her family in San Pablo (East Bay). She's really funny and playful. I like her very much.
We have a Filipino babysitter and she is just an inherently good human being; we have never seen her as an outsider. After getting to know other filipinos I can safely say that their kindness, humble character, diligence and cleanliness are just staggering. It is no surprise to me that Kirk Hammett is still such a humble and nice person despite the enormous fame.
If there is a "kind heart" element in Metallica, it probably comes from Kirk. He helped the band to stay together by having deep faith with his band mates specially with James (alcohol problem/addiction). He did most of the cheerleading when the mood is down. Mama Kirk taught this value I suppose.

As far as Kirks father, to tell you the truth I haven't heard much about him. Actually nothing. I just know his mother has supported him endlessly over the years. It would be interesting to learn more about his dad.
kirk once said in an interview that on his sixteenth birthday, his father started beating up his mother. kirk tried to intervene, but he ended up getting beaten up too. kirk's also mentioned how he and james kind of come from the same place, with not great fathers.

My hubby says I'm obsessed because I also watch other half Filipino like Nicole Sherzinger, Bruno Mars, Black eyed peas.
