I love it when Paladin videos pop up in my subscription bar. I carry a small pouch to work but I always have 2 jars of tobacco in my lunch bag, just depends on the weather and what I'm in the mood for. Thanks again for all you do for us,Tommy
Taking me back to the good old days as usual. One of my favorite channels to watch. I just sit back light a pipe and let go. Keep being who you are and don’t change a thing. It’s perfect
Loved this one! I may do one of these myself! I agree with you on yeh merchant services pouch! It’s an amazing pouch for the money! I have a zipper pouch I’ve been using since 1994 that has been a workhorse! Just a fantastic leather pouch that I bought at tinder box
@@PaladinPiper I'm trying to figure out what would be a good roll or hard case to take on a motorcycle. Otherwise I stuff the pipe and pocket jar in my vest and leather stand on my belt. I use an old 5.56 casing as a tamper I brought back home from over there. Any recommendations?
Thanks for showing those different pouches, Pat. It’s so hard to find the “just right” pouch. You really need to handle them to get a feel for how it will work out. But you can only shop for them online. 🤷♂️
Very cool to see older ways of carrying pipe tobacco! I usually just carry the tin it comes in, if they're 50g. Been on the fence about picking up some of the pocket jars.
Cool counterpart. Thought I saw you with a silver flip top fish fish can looking one, been wondering about those? Quite a variety and always good to have backups or potential gifts.
Leather pouches: I have the Rattray's large stand-up pouch (which I like quite a bit) and JYOS pouch-- wrap-up pouch, both worth looking at as well. I may order the Merchant Services that you showed, just on principle :-) about twenty-five bucks. Leather and pipe accessory, I'm in!
More to come my friend! Stay tuned! I just didn’t want to make a super long video. Thought it be better to break em into chunks. Thank you for watching!
I had my first codger smoke man! A customer sent me a jar of Prince Albert. Never had any otc, pouch codger blend before. Lol. I’ve been curious given people smoked them for 50 years straight etc, I went in without judgment and ……. I love it. I still love all my other stuff. It’s def. far from bold but it’s exactly what I wanted. Just a faint hint of casing. Chocolate or something? Burns well, a bit fast but oh well. I’ve had 15 or so bowls over the week I’ve had it and going to maybe trade for a can. I’ve got everything so I’ll post up on pipesmagazine for some trades I want to do any maybe a vid here… thought of you though.
Not that I have noticed but I clean mine out really well when switching blends. I have considered dedicating certain pouches to aromatics, English's and Virginia blends....:)
If you just want a tobacco pouch the castleford is a great value. I am working on pipe pouches and pipe and tobacco pouch videos also. So I’ll show some options with those as well. :)

It punches way above its weigh class for sure!
Love the music. Reminds me of sitting with my grandpa.
😀

@@usmcdoc2512 If you have saddle bags Id go with a good leather roll up or a Zippered style depending on how many pipes and blends youre taking. :)
Great start to the series. I do love my tins but definitely on the look out for a pouch. Cheers Pat.
Thanks for stopping by!
Excellent excellent video.
Great information!!!
Totally enjoyed it.😊✌️
Very neat collection of ‘baccy carriers.
I have one of the Merchant Service pouches too... love it.
Thanks for sharing your stuff!
Awesome I have a couple of plaid pouches... My favorite though is the Missouri Meerschaum pipe and tobacco pouch. Super handy.
I'm a pipe smoker junkie, love these videos! 💨💨💨
Thanks Pat, great video!! I’ll start working on my Christmas list!

Def taking a leap of faith these days with pouches.

Those are relatively new but cool also. This is one of the fun aspects of the hobby for sure. Thanks for watching!
I should get a tri pouch. But I only really smoke at home😅 oh well, stop trying to buy stuff Steve 😆 have a great week Pat!
This is a great series Pat !
Really liked that merchant service pouch. I'll have 2 try 2 find one.
Merchant service makes great products my friend!

Cocoa and molasses. All ya need. Except for licorice hahahah. Yeah I gotta dig through the boxes where my PA resides. Lol you made me miss it!
You might want to get your camera serviced, its mucking up your film plane a good bit and letting in debris.
Just like the old days. Perfect. 😉Thanks for watching buddy!
Don’t you find that the 3 fold pouch keeps the tobacco fresher than the zipper pouch?🤔
About the same for me honestly. But I am partial to the merchant service one….😇
Great info, time for me to start carrying a pouch instead of tins. Any issues with the pouch holding and mixing flavors when switching tobaccos?
Not that I have noticed but I clean mine out really well when switching blends. I have considered dedicating certain pouches to aromatics, English's and Virginia blends....:)
I mix, never found it to be an issue
@@PaladinPiper Thank you Pat
Thanks Pat, I really enjoy this type of video! I was thinking about getting a zipper tobacco pouch...which one would you recommend? Take care!
