I love my crazy cacti... I use it like a tubescreamer, and tweak it for organic breakup and it has a wonderfully characterful decay to it as it tails out, like a delicate breath of a Joe meek expander gate in a see-saw compressor setting. Fantastic, unusual pedal, a true favourite!🍀

Thanks Oscar for the comparison. I own a few of the Carline pedals. They do give a good representation of the pedals they copy, Just for interest If your gigging take both pedals set them up in a band mix situation and I can certainly make that $50 pedal sound like your $200 pedal. It's only when recording that things get more serious with choice. Cheers!
It's only me or the crazy cacti sounds louder than the mosfet?

Ohhhhh I thought mine was faulty. Yeah that setting is tons louder and if you DI it one is really quiet. Can't remember which one, I think the middle one on the three way. Sounds great but you can't change the toggle if you play live.
In my experience the crazy cacti is lot let louder
Hello, is the pedal noisy at 3/4 gain and volume? Change the tone of your guitar or transparent? You see it better than caline orange burst, vintage joyo overdrive, pure sky? How about pushing the saturation of a tube amp?

Cacti is brighter less compressed. Wonder if backing off the tone on the Cacti would make them sound the same....

The people claiming that they hear a difference between the pedals from the audio of this video are straight up lying.
First of all the audio is absolute SHITE,
The playing is inconsistent.

Sound recording make these 2 pedals not much different... I probably had the bias on Cacti which I owned sound unique with tone tail....Full drive is just perfect overdrive for me....
