I'm so pleased to be one of millions to see Al performing live. I saw him for my first time on July 14th at the North Sea Jazz Festival in The Hague Netherlands. Special guest was Randy Crawford. I can't stop thinking about this extraordinary evening in a packet Statenhal. Rest in peace your music will be alive for ever!
This truly touches the face of God. It is a spiritual experience listening to him. It gives me chills. Thank u God for letting us have him for this short time on earth. He represents so many happy memories for me. I'm so sad.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎶

I suspect, that the dislikers might be - people, who just like completely different style of music, classic, metal, whatever, and they are dissapointed that Jarreau is not metal enough (absurd...?). The dislikers might be also rather young musicians, who just know everything better... They may be also people, who payed about 150 dollars for tickets for that night at Montreux and didn't enjoyed the evening enough...

God, I was so sad when I heard Al passed away...we didnt just lose an incredible musician (I mean, he was the ENTIRE rhythm section all by himself)..but he was such a good human being.
