Great content and detail. Did you measure how much lift you got over stock on the top ring? On the middle ring? Planning this install and want to avoid that bucking bull.
@@ShockSurplus Listen to the chat again around 4:00- Jeff and Sean discuss initially setting on the top clip and the ride was like a ‘bucking bull’ while towing….Topping out frequently. They said it was reset to the middle clip and the ride improved. Trying to figure out how much lift they got at the top vs middle clip. Thank you.
I have a 2024 ram rebel with 4 inch bds lift that comes with fox 2.5 dsc shocks and they are rough compared to the stock bilsteins that came with the truck . I mean rough and no matter how I adjust the dsc know in the front they are still rough
BDS gets their coilovers custom made for them by Fox as they are a subsidiary, however they are also in charge of the tune as well. So far, we have yet to be very happy with how BDS or really how almost anybody besides Fox tunes their shocks. There definitely is something to be said about having a multimillion dollar R&D department for sure. That said, they are still a Fox, so you can have them revalved as needed to better suit your preferences.

we went with the highest setting on the snap ring and that still kept it about 2" of lift, we didn't test the middle.

If I want to level my tacoma without adding any rear lift, should I go for the 1 inch or 2 inch ring?
You need about 2" lift in the front to get it leveled.
