I'm really not bugged by the smaller roster for the Romans. Sure the WRE and ERE get amazing units in the grand campaign, but what is the point of having them if the campaign is so miserable? I am nearing 420 AD and have pretty much all of my territory, but whenever I fix my food shortage I find myself with sanitation trouble, fix that I get food shortages again, fix that I have rebellions popping up somewhere, and it goes on and on. Sure this monotonous micro-management of a Rome gone to hell is a fun challenge at first, but a hundred turns in and no improvement and not even the best units unlocked makes me prefer the Franks and Saxons campaigns.
Hey total war zone if your having trouble naming the units, if you double click on the unit in battle, the officer will say the units name so you know how to properly pronounce it
Yes i got hammered in the beginning. U just have to use retreat in a taxtical way, stay down in the beginning, dnt go for it right from the start. U will win the first battle and from there everything changes. Use the choke points at your advantge.
I expected you to say more like how to keep the expedition rich with no spoiler or what actually the game asks u to do... for example, once reclaimed a settlement dsnt have to be fought .. just leave it behind. I did not know it and lost soo much time in chapter 1 and 2...
How do you make a unit have 120 men? I've been having lots of troubles on fighting enemy armies specially if they're going to attack my army with 2 armies
first - thanks a lot for this! second - expedition looks like mew look on romans(axes and shock cav) third - can you say what other LR factions will be in custom/multiplayer battle?
historically the Vandals would have won this war but the king Gelimer overreacted to relatives getting killed by losing heart and retreating. At Ad Decimum the Vandals were winning until that happened.
@@viniciusdomenighi6439 I mean it's not, according to Roman historian Procopius this is what happened. His account is the salient primary source on the campaign 😅 soooo
@@KaramjanTriangle The Romans destroyed the vandal scouts. Then they proceeded to the center of the battlefield to secure passage for the Roman army. When the Vandal army arrived, they found the Roman scout force and thought to be the rear of the main army. The scouts returned to Belisarius and then the Roman army launched its attack. Caught from behind, the vandals were wiped out.

Mark Not always though. :D
True I think you would have to click it again but then again it might not work
Is there any way to win as the Vandals? You start out fighting the Expedition on day one!

The Bucelarii cavalry should have bows and lances. Historically they were all trained as horse archers as well as charging with lances.
Great videos!!
Mark Thanks!
