Awhile back, I added the GoPro Fusion to my camera arsenal. I've used it in a couple vids (Orcas Island, Lost Coast, Sweepers, etc) and it's been an interesting piece of kit. Compared to something like the Rylo, I appreciate the ability to edit the 360 footage in my NLE as opposed to an app. This was an experiment in footage collection, file handling, dynamic range and image quality. I think the tech is there, but there's a huge amount of room for improvement. Enjoy One Mile (more like 1.3)!

Wow Ethan - that was the most relaxing mile I have ever (not) run in my life! The music really makes this clip - well done! I can see now why you wanted to move back to Seattle - so many beautiful options for running!
Here's an idea...see if you can run a loop out on a trail and see if you can splice the beginning onto the end of the video to try to make a seemless, endless continuous loop of footage with soundtrack that you can just play on repeat over and over again...

The ultra cool music makes it hard to be critical of the footage. Hey, Ethan, I hope your pup is doing better. The community feels it, and our thoughts are with your family.
I was able to watch it on my computer, phone and TV and realized that you could’ve shot this with an early 90’s camcorder and the essence of your vision would have still connected with the people you inspire daily. Thanks for giving us a peak behind the curtains Ethan.

Very nice. I would love to see a whole race or long workout documented in this way. Stabilization, music, and trail are outstanding. One time over exposure was nearly irrelevant in the context of the whole film. Keep experimenting. I'd love to run to this on a treadmill if I could not get outside.

Ethan, that was really cool to see the continuous shot on the Fusion. I like that you can edit it with your computer software instead of needing an app (like the Rylo). I'm curious, do you have a Rylo as well? The stability of both cameras is great but what seems to be the biggest issue right now is the step down in video quality. I would love to see the quality comparison between the two camera's. Despite the lower quality, it sure will be great to get stable race footage without the need to use a gimbal! Going forward, do you see this camera as being a primary piece of filming gear for you?
I would also be interested to know whether there was a trade-off between audio vs video regarding memory capacity. Is that why you went straight to music only? Also, I am always amazed at the HD video quality of these cameras. Great vid. I can't get enough of these.
