As someone who is now on heart medication following a heart attack 3 months ago, a side effect of the medication is that the toes and fingers are more prone to cold. The socks and gloves would be a welcome addition to my cycling kit. Thanks for sharing 👍
I too suffer with poor circulation in my hands. It's not a new thing and had the problem all my adult life. Those gloves seem to offer a solution. My partial solution is a pair of ski gloves. My hands do eventually get very cold but not as quickly as I found with the dozens of gloves I've tried. I'll mention to my wife how a pair of these would make a nice birthday present.😃
I suffer front cold hands and feet too and I’m with you Roy on the gloves front. Will definitely look into those. For my feet I have recently invested in some winter cycling shoes. What a revelation. I now have warm tootsies throughout the ride which is great. However having said that, the shoes were more expensive than the socks so that is something to bare in mind.
Greart review Roy, couldn't be better, well designed clothing by an engineer, maybe they could design a heated ebike battery cover, with different heat settings, for those cold days
Another sufferer of crap circulation Something i have tried for my hands us wearing disposable medical gloves under my Galibier deep winter gloves this def works for keeping hands warm... will look into the heated socks as they could be a positive boon ! Cheers
What you need is one of the suits used in bio labs. Tape a hairdryer to the air hose and connect the hairdryer to a 2kw battery or perhaps use a long extension cord.
Thank you Roy for a really interesting review. I’m very tempted by the gloves - one question I wanted to ask was whether or not the gloves are waterproof, or perhaps water resistant?
They are waterproof to ip44 which ideally water resistant and not waterproof if you submerged too long. You can add scotch guard to upgrade on the ip44
Hi, Neil. I found the sizing spot on. Unlike cycling clothing, the sizes are developed around normal people 😀 If you follow the size guide you’ll not go wrong, but if you’re between two sizes I’d go larger. And don’t forget the discount code Roy10 at the checkout for 10% off. I get nothing out of it but it will help you. You’ve reminded me to charge mine up now the weathers getting cold 🥶

@Cycling God Hey I'm just brainstorming ideas for keeping warm in cold wet weather.
Many thanks for the information and the discount code
Thank you Roy for a really interesting review. I’m very tempted by the gloves - one question I wanted to ask was whether or not the gloves are waterproof, or perhaps water resistant?
I didn’t check them in water but I would expect them to be showerproof at the most. They do offer a waterproof glove in the range.

Thanks Roy. They are on my wish list!
You’ll look like something from the Ready Brek adverts 😂
Hello Roy. Have you done a video on hydraulic brakes?
No, it’s not something I know anything about.
Fair play. I'm sure there are videos out there.
Hi Roy, how did you find the sizing of the gloves. Are they a tight fit and need to order a size bigger as with some cycle kit? Many Thanks
