@@TokuNorth I know. That's what makes it poetic. He couldn't save a girl the first time, and she died. He saved a little girl, but he died. I don't think he would've preferred dying any other way.

@@haydenreviewscustomcomboswell Movie War Megamax and Heisei Generations FINAL aren't canon to the 10th anniversary movie. The two movies's events aren't never brought up at all.
I say King OOO's return was due to the Greeeds being freed. As his body was the core of the coffin that the Greeeds and Ankh(who was just an arm) were trapped in. So his body was most likely transformed into cell medals and ended up having his consciousness split across countless cell medals that were inside of the Greeeds' bodies. So when they were killed, he returned closely by reforming his body and repairing the core medals with his knowledge of their creation.
My main problem with OOO 10th is how most of eiji’s screen time being Eiji is the last ten minutes of the film(not to mention how a couple of those minutes are him being possessed by ankh or dying), it was an OOO anniversary movie so it felt wrong for Eiji to hardly even be there. I don’t mind that Eiji died though, honestly not that surprising Eiji was originally planned to die actually, feels fitting.
I don't have a problem with Eiji dying from a writing standpoint even if I'd rather he live, but I definitely think his death/presence in the movie was just overall badly done
nah for real the ending for the 000s movie was the first time I've ever cried that hard in a toku movie. It really didn't hit me how hard I was emotionally invested in the show and characters til that moment. Man
OOO was my introduction to Kamen rider in general considering I never watched Saban's masked rider, and to this day it stays as my #1 Kamen rider show. I loved the funny interactions between Eiji and Ankh, the greeeds being the villains for the show, and the overall cast for the show were phenomenal!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! OOO is one of my all time favorite Rider shows, second only to W. It's such a good show. When I rewatched it a few years ago I remembered exactly why it is so good. Edit: my favorite combo is Tajador. It's perfectly encapsulation of Eiji and Ankh's comradery, an awesome suit design, and Time Judged All is the best theme in the show.
1:33:46 - I was legitimately floored to learn this bit of trivia, it's something I literally never saw people talk about before and it recontextualizes a lot of the conversation surrounding OOO 10th. Really well done video overall, I rarely watch other people's opinions or perspectives on toku out of a desire to not have my opinion colored by other people, but I think it's important to have these conversations, especially about these shows that everyone feels strongly for. OOO is indeed really special.
I liked OOO because it made me look at the world a little differently. I never had a goal before watching OOO, after it I did a bit of soul searching. I never found a goal but I did start trying to nail down what I could do. The thing that stuck with me is that the local lottery had a winner of 000 during this seasons run. I almost played the numbers then but didn't want to waste the money.
OOO's final form is Gatakiriba. Here's my reasoning 1: It does a staple of later nu-heisei riders and allows him to access all of his forms at once (we've seen the clones use other combos before) 2: It's a bug theme 3: It's the most expensive form to use (in terms of production cost) 4: The insect greeed was the enemy parallel that had a bunch of medals shoved into him 5: Because I said so

@@Marcosatsu I was trying to convey that I enjoy OOO as a series, and that the 10th anniversary movie felt like a middle finger to anyone that enjoys OOO.
I feel the same. This movie lacked everything that made OOO what it was. The character dynamics were completely ruined by the apocalypse setting and the Absence of Eiji as Eiji for most of the movie. The new form and Eijis sacrifice were good even tho i would have liked that Eiji dies in the final battle instead saving a little girl offscreen because that is his thing. It would have been cool if he managed to save the girl and go to a last adventure with his friends and die for THEM. Also Goto lost his cool look and looked like an alcoholic whis was way too funny and all of this mostly cos of his hair. This movie lacked heart is what i am saying. It tries to pay tribute to the series but fails because it is superficial. @@Paketoija My biggest question concerning the 10th anniversary movie is "Why did Toei choose Nobuhiro Mouri to write this movie and not Yasuko Kobayashi?". OOO as a series is technically Kobayashi's "baby" given that she was the show's head writer, so she should have been the one to write the epilogue. They got Gokaiger's head writer, Naruhisa Arakawa to write the aforementioned sentai's 10th anniversary movie; so why couldn't they have asked Kobayashi to write OOO's send-off?
I don't remember you mentioning this, but I like how the insert songs kinda evoke the animals they represent. In Ride On Ride Time, the way "RaToraTah" is sung sounds like the roar that we associate with those felines. The fast pace of the song also goes well with the fact that Cheetahs are the fastest land animals. In Gotta Keep It Real, the instruments sound like a spring which gets me thinking of grasshoppers. The vocals in Sun Goes Up are big and intimidating, like gorillas. Shout Out has those female vocals that get me thinking of mermaids. Power To Tearer is rock, like dinosaurs. Time Judged All is more majestic, like a phoenix. I know it's subjective and kinds silly, but I always saw that in the songs.

I actually really like when main riders actually die. It is something rare and unique. It shows that they are also humans and not invincible. I actually would like that to happen again with a future main rider.
Honestly if the movie had a longer running time and at least give us a bit more explanation or at least a build up on how ankh and king ooo return and goda's creation it would have been better because the movie felt rush. Heck i would rather it being a 3 episodes format Like episode one king ooo returned with the greeds and eiji fought him and lost, while in the mean time the birth x mini movie happen. Episode 2 will happen like in the movie but explain more about goda , episode 3 exactly like the movie's climax. It could have been a lot better than somehow king ooo return like palpatine
Who is arguing that tatoba is the ultimate form? I am not gonna completely shit on that idea or whatever but I am very interested in the logic behind it
This series is my first favorite and I become a fan because of this... I remembered that I tried to wake up early in the morning just to watch this on tv every Saturday and Sunday (this show was aired on Philippine tv with a tagalog dub) and forgot about this series for a very long time because I don't even know where to watch this series back then, and wen I remembered about this series I forgot the name and searched on UA-cam "Power rangers that uses medals to transform" and it showed the clip of this
One important thing to note that is a bit odd. The chests of some combos, the individual pieces make one image, gatakiriba makes a king of a swarm, sagouzo makes a jungle king of great armor, latorata makes a pack on the hunt.
My tier list for the OSTS: 1. Power to Tearer 2. Time Judged All 3. Reverse/Rebirth 4. Ride On Right Time 5. Got to Keep it Real 6. Tighten Up 7. Shout Out 8. Sun Goes Up
Glad you too agree that Eiji would totally do this self sacrifice. I am so tired of people bitching about OOO's 10th film and saying its shit because Eiji shouldn't have died, spite it being in his nature to do just that. It doesn't ruin anything about OOO or even Eiji, it just shows that they didn't want their fanfics of Eiji and Ankh being together to not happen. :/
You know.. i always take my Taka Core Medal everywhere i goes to remind me of who i am.. its like im taking with 7 years old me walking to see unrevealing future... Until now and eiji's death always make me cry...
The original name of this form could have been tritertyra, to go with the original head, torso, and legs lineup of triceratops, pterodactyl, and tyrannosaurus.
W and OOO both for me were huge formative experiences, I got into toku just after highschool and i was at a time in my life characterized by existential crises, and banal desire, themes familiar to fans of of W and OOO. Ultimately those 2 shows hooked me on kamen rider forever, a few shows since then haven't lived up to my expectations, fourzes ending, ghosts first half, Saber overall, but for the most part, since I first started W, I've been taking in these series every week, sharing the stories with anyone who'll listen, and it might seem silly, but accepting this almost childish glee for heroes that started with MMPR, brought me to Gokaiger, and eventually to W, was a huge step in my maturing into adulthood. I was a kid who grew up a little too early, and i took in a lot of philosophy at a young and age and always needed to search for meaning. Rider crystallized in me that my meaning was my code, I'd live by rules that i set for myself and that would lead me to where i want to go, one desire at a time, counting my sins as i go, to protect the ones i love. I'm just your... friendly passing-through kamen rider, after all XD sry, i ruined it.
We're not going to compare the return of the big bad of the entire OOO's lore to a silly and random gag like Hina's abnormal strength. I'm sorry but no. Also you're saying that Rider hasn't explained stuff for years now and then proceeded to list off series like Saber, Revice and Zi-O....I mean....I wonder why??? Ever since Build ended the franchise hasn't been AS gripping to its fans for these very same reasons you are attempting to defend here despite clearly having a similar opinion for. OOO's 10th was sloppy, rushed and hardly did anything with more than half of the returning cast. Sidelined Birth X, turned Godah into a generic puppet and overall it just was not fun to watch outside of the fight scenes. It felt very bleak and alien from the usual OOO's vibe. If you're going to do something as ballsy as killing off the main character just for an edgy ending, at least make the movie worthwhile. This entire film just felt sour. Tajador Eternity was cool tho.
The boomer is posting video consistently, It's honestly scary I like this movie though, It's a half/half good conclusion for the cast, Wish we got that fourze movie, Damn YOU HAPPY SMILE!!!
I hope that one day Eiji Hino will be revived with a purple core medal and there will be a movie commemorating the 20th anniversary of kamen rider ooo in the future........
I like how the singer and writer for Anything Goes, said on interviews that she wanted to make it as good as possible so her kids(who are Kamen Rider fans) could boast about their mom being in Kamen Rider.
I personally didn't like this movie because I believe that the movie was a disservice to the characters of ankh and eiji. Ankhs story concludes with ankh achieving his ultimate goal of "being human" by being able to die due to the life he was able to live with Eiji and hina. But now that he is alive his character arch is completely undone. The pain of someone's death when they know they could have done nothing to save should have been eijis to bear, not ankhs.
This...i can kinda agree with but Ankh also didn't quite cherish life yet either so seeing him care so much about Eiji's death does fufill that as well. What I'm more mad about is that they killed him off in the most egregious ways. A flashback??? Really?! That's not the way to send off a charcater not to mention if Ankh had just STAYED ON HIM, he would've been FINE. like literally with Shingo. That's what ticks me off. I'd prefer if his death happened in the show at least or they go about it differently but the execution was subpar
Hoping for a perfect ending for OOO, this is probably the most unfairly treated kamen rider series in the ending, at least in the second half of the Heishei era.
The first time I watched the 10th anniversary movie. Right after the movie I went to rewatch the OOO and Fourze movie for "future Ankh" reactions to eiji. The final smile he gave eiji meant much more as in his heart he knew that would really be the last time he would see his partner and friend. Side note: With the 10th anniversary movie wouldn't Ankh be able to become OOO as well 🤣
My question about OOO 10th is why couldn't Ankh just possess Eiji's body like he did Shingo? Like he could split off his arm again and use that to keep Eiji alive until his body recovered like Shingo's did.
I think what I love about OOOs’ insert themes is that they’re named to reference the forms themselves, for example: Time Judged All sounds like Tajador (especially if you hear Watanabe and Akira sing it.) Edit: I also hope that any crossover that has OOOs references the 10th anniversary movie with Eiji’s actor appearing as a spirit to aid Ankh.
I will say, I wish Core Medals of Resurrection was better as a movie. the feeling I had once the dust settled was... that it had the content of a TTFC episode stretched to feature length, then realised it was only an hour long instead of the 2 hours I felt. Then watching secret story of Birth X after as the final note of my viewing of the season, leaving on a HBV, also wasn't great. I love the OOO season and even Megamax was absolutely delightful. I wanted to give the finale finale of OOO the proper attention it deserved so between the season finale and Core Medals of Resurrection, it was a noticable gap. So to have the finale built up and ultimately deflated afterward wasn't great. Loved the King OOO drip, Goda drip, Birth X, and TaJaDor Eternity (except for the jingle, it sounded so bad), but wish there was more meat on the bones for them. Yes, it was mainly about Eiji's send off and one last episode, but they made it a movie so I expected the focus to zoom out a little given the runtime and amount of plot actually happening, just disappointing on that front.
"Maybe a bit too safe..." "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPIII BAAAAAASSSSUDEEIIIIIIIIIII TOOOO-" lol. Maybe safe for today, but at the time i think it took plenty of risks, even if it played plenty safe. A kids show based on weaponizing desire? thats dark af.
My issue with the return of King OOO is because its something you expect to be explained, even if it's just a throwaway "Kougami's meddling brought back another king! Whoops!" It just sat in my mind the whole time expecting an explanation that never came. Yes, Kamen Rider is lousy with explaining the void movie villains appear from and disappear into but this King OOO. You don't just bring back a big name figure like that and just not address it. Would it have made a significant difference to my enjoyment of the movie? No. Would it have been mildly less annoying to get that explanation? Yes.
For what I've seen most people don't have a problem with OOO 10th IDEA, But the execution. Me included. Watching the movie felt so weird, like something didn't suit right, as much as I thought the ideas were really cool and interesting I have big issues with the execution. And it stressed me out so I can't help but feel conflicted 😂 Is just a me thing, when I see something that has so much more potential and it doesn't reach it. It ANNOYS ME way to much 😂 But beside the movie, yeah, OOO is Really Good. I mean, is not in my Top 5 there were some things that didn't fully buy me, but it is definitly on my Top 10 😎🤙

"And Eiji emds up in Brazil"
A fate woese than death i see
Both actors for Eiji and Ankh have said that this ending wasn't what they wanted for the 10th Anniversary. I feel like that speaks volumes.
Honestly if the movie had a longer running time and at least give us a bit more explanation or at least a build up on how ankh and king ooo return and goda's creation it would have been better because the movie felt rush. Heck i would rather it being a 3 episodes format
Like episode one king ooo returned with the greeds and eiji fought him and lost, while in the mean time the birth x mini movie happen. Episode 2 will happen like in the movie but explain more about goda , episode 3 exactly like the movie's climax. It could have been a lot better than somehow king ooo return like palpatine
Fun fact : do you know that ooo has 6 forms
Who is arguing that tatoba is the ultimate form? I am not gonna completely shit on that idea or whatever but I am very interested in the logic behind it
Seiya!!!
My tier list for the OSTS:
1. Power to Tearer
2. Time Judged All
3. Reverse/Rebirth
4. Ride On Right Time
5. Got to Keep it Real
6. Tighten Up
7. Shout Out
8. Sun Goes Up
Glad you too agree that Eiji would totally do this self sacrifice. :/
This fucking series gave a new level of legs appreciation.
I love OOO
I was sadly singing anything goes at the end of the 10th anniversary special.
You know.. i always take my Taka Core Medal everywhere i goes to remind me of who i am.. its like im taking with 7 years old me walking to see unrevealing future... Until now and eiji's death always make me cry...
Dammit I didn't want to tear up at the end and still ended up tearing up
The original name of this form could have been tritertyra, to go with the original head, torso, and legs lineup of triceratops, pterodactyl, and tyrannosaurus.
Remember that time I told you about reuploading and adding the 10th anniversary movie yeah it happened.
I'm just your... friendly passing-through kamen rider, after all XD sry, i ruined it.
i love all you're videos
Seems cool
I'm glad I'm not the only person who heard "Bitch-Tyrannosaurus"
The boomer is posting video consistently, It's honestly scary
I like this movie though, It's a half/half good conclusion for the cast, Wish we got that fourze movie,
Damn YOU HAPPY SMILE!!!
ANYTHING GOES, OOO...10 years later
I just came from watching the 10th anniversary and now I can't stop crying. I'm trying to stop by watching videos but it's not working HELP
😭😭😭😭
I hope that one day Eiji Hino will be revived with a purple core medal and there will be a movie commemorating the 20th anniversary of kamen rider ooo in the future........
Hype
My favorite combo is definitely TaJaDor eternity and super TaToBa
21:37 it’s just not a good W scene without shotaro screaming
Didn't this video got taken down? What was the changes?
Hoping for a perfect ending for OOO, this is probably the most unfairly treated kamen rider series in the ending, at least in the second half of the Heishei era.
The first time I watched the 10th anniversary movie. Right after the movie I went to rewatch the OOO and Fourze movie for "future Ankh" reactions to eiji. The final smile he gave eiji meant much more as in his heart he knew that would really be the last time he would see his partner and friend.
Side note: With the 10th anniversary movie wouldn't Ankh be able to become OOO as well 🤣
Bruh i always wanted his belt. Not my fav rider but i love the belt and jingles
Births gimmicks were so cool, they reused it in fourze
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ._.
I like to think that Tajadol is ahnks final form and putotyra is eiji final form
I'm trying to figure out what translates to everygreen name
My question about OOO 10th is why couldn't Ankh just possess Eiji's body like he did Shingo? Like he could split off his arm again and use that to keep Eiji alive until his body recovered like Shingo's did.
1:16:30 centipede honey bee ant because it looks cool. The base one not the movie one.
Any reappearance of OOOs is Ankh in my eyes after the 10th
Sea Salt Trio from KH 🤝 Ankh
Ice cream addict besties
TaJaDOr in spanish means Pencil sharpener
59:58 But...at what cost
I think what I love about OOOs’ insert themes is that they’re named to reference the forms themselves, for example:
Time Judged All sounds like Tajador (especially if you hear Watanabe and Akira sing it.)
Edit: I also hope that any crossover that has OOOs references the 10th anniversary movie with Eiji’s actor appearing as a spirit to aid Ankh.
I’m with the people who say that theirs 3 final forms. TaJaDor/TaJaDor Eternity, PuToTyra, and Super TaToBa
To me Birth will always be R5 from Rescue Force
Is this a re-upload?
I believe the disaster the writer was talking about should be the nuclear power plant disaster that happened in 2011
I love the homeless traffic light.
Kamen Rider Aqua series when?
Why does gouto get to be the one who gets new birth form? Date Akira is the main birth!!!
Skulls backstory unnecessary?!?!?!? Baaaaaaaah
i like tajador eternity
My issue with the return of King OOO is because its something you expect to be explained, even if it's just a throwaway "Kougami's meddling brought back another king! Whoops!" It just sat in my mind the whole time expecting an explanation that never came. Yes, Kamen Rider is lousy with explaining the void movie villains appear from and disappear into but this King OOO. You don't just bring back a big name figure like that and just not address it. Would it have made a significant difference to my enjoyment of the movie? No. Would it have been mildly less annoying to get that explanation? Yes.
you know were the bee rider come form ?
Yea, I said it in the video
i love you're videos @@Marcosatsu
okay and i love you're videos and i love you're channel@@Marcosatsu
49:44 - I remember when you did the Everything Wrong with OOO Movie and it was rated as, Don't Even Bother. This movie is garbage.
For what I've seen most people don't have a problem with OOO 10th IDEA, But the execution. Me included.
Watching the movie felt so weird, like something didn't suit right, as much as I thought the ideas were really cool and interesting I have big issues with the execution. And it stressed me out so I can't help but feel conflicted 😂
Is just a me thing, when I see something that has so much more potential and it doesn't reach it. It ANNOYS ME way to much 😂
But beside the movie, yeah, OOO is Really Good. I mean, is not in my Top 5 there were some things that didn't fully buy me, but it is definitly on my Top 10 😎🤙
I still refuse to count the medals.
Am I teh only one who thought I was going crazy when Spanish started
Yeah my too, thankfully i am Peruvian and i can understand Ivonne
It was nice to hear a Spanish speaking fan talk about Kamen Rider
0:37 i think that's mine I swear lmao
Ngl that got me hard XD
50th anni>>>>>>>
