Fun fact about Gokaiger: before the earthquake of 2011 the show was only going to have actors from post Gaoranger but afterwards actors from across the history of the franchise came to join in the celebration of the franchise's anniversary as a sign of solidarity
Fourze is just the definition of execution over complexity, it's truly wonderful. A small thing I really appreciate is how you see Gentaro become friends with the entire school over time, every episode there's a new person or group who're saying hello or helping him out, feels like he is genuinely making connections when we're not watching him and reinforces that promise of becoming friends with everyone.
TLDR: I was a really brooding and self-hating kid back in my high school years until Fourze showed me the light again and changed me into a person who can look forwards and keep going. You know, around the time I was watching Fourze was during my senior year of high school. Let me tell you, that feeling of journeying through high school with Fourze by my side is absolutely unforgettable. As a show, I have my problems with Fourze, though it is far from the worst, nor I don’t think it’s even bad. However, the impact that Gentaro and the Kamen Rider Club left on me as a teen makes an important moment for me. During my time in high school, I was an utter mess. Back in middle school, I hung out with the wrong group of people and had committed some actions that I’m not proud of what so ever. And when I entered high school, I opened my eyes to everything around me, including the bad influences and acts of horror I committed. The guilt I harbored couldn’t be measured or expressed even if I wanted to, so much so that I wanted to kill myself for my naivety and awful actions. As a result, I spent most of my days of high school alone, shameful, as well as resentful. In addition to my guilt, I began to feel angry about how certain people can act like pompous assholes while pushing around others. All of these factors constantly invaded and engulfed my mind to the point where I believed that the world holds no good and that everything was a lie. It got even worse when my sophomore and junior years were affected by Covid-19 as I stayed in my home, feeling like I was going insane. It may sound like I’m just being pathetic, but even though I am over exaggerating the whole thing, the guilt from my past self and the dark thoughts I accumulated really did affect not only my self esteem, but also aggression. I still remember to this day the times where I would throw myself into a mental breakdown over all of this. As I went into my senior year, I thought nothing will change and I believed that I was going to be heading into a world of evil. However, that was also the time I was starting to rediscover my love for tokusatsu, and during my senior year, I found Kamen Rider Fourze. Through all of the darkness I encased myself in, there comes along this innocent show about friendship and fighting bad guys. At first, I thought this was all nonsense, but I continued watching anyways. I kept watching the show, and even through my rejections, I had a deep resonation with it. I couldn’t help but give out a smile when I see Gentaro and the Kamen Rider Club having fun and adventuring to new heights. And just like that, I slowly started to forget about the “evil” world I lived in and focus on just the type of things friendship can accomplish. Even when things looked very bleak and hopeless, they never gave up as they continued to be a symbol of hope in the dark. I then looked back on my world as I saw a whole different vision, a vision in which I could see hope for humanity. And when I got done finishing Fourze, I was not only left crying because of the finale, but I was now left with a feeling of determination and hope. Fourze has taught me that even when you fall down, you can always get back on your feet and continue to climb higher than before, and that there may be moments of darkness in our world, but light will never vanish and will always shine so long as I remain hopeful. And now that I’m graduated, I can safely say that I have graduated not as the self-loathing and grumpy loser I once was, but as a kid who never gives up even if he has fallen multiple times, and none of that could have been accomplished if I didn’t have this journey with Fourze. In an essence, Fourze has pretty much changed my life for the better, and I will always be grateful to the people behind the scenes who effortlessly worked to the very end to make all of us smile.

Fourze has one of my favourite endings in all of kamen rider aside from Drive and Build because of how they defeat the chairman using the core themes of the season. Fourze is one of my favourite seasons in kamen rider for playing off the theme of friendship so well. Definitely recommend.
As I said Fourze was the show that was really needed in a time when Japan was not a good place. If it wasn't for Fourze and Gokaiger then the kids wouldn't have anything to look forward to.

i followed your advice of watching the last episodes of fourze myself, and i gotta say, first rider show to make me cry during the ending, not even W or blade could make me cry, so thanks, and fourze? 29/10.
Fourze is high tier. I'm surprised there wasn't more attention brought about Fourze's transformation sequence being like a rocket ship launch sequence. Set up firm legs/base, flip switches to prime launch sequence, count down sequence, pulling the lever to blast off, right arm lifting up into the air like a rocket with smoke forming at the bottom. And to top it all off, "It's Space Time!" Stretches the limbs out like a star or even the Big Bang (since Gentarou curls up into a ball once in the suit). This one and Ryuki's transformations are my favorites.
I thought I would dislike the season because I also wasn't a huge fan of the helmet, but I ended up loving it so much! The characters are great, the story is fun, and even the movies are perfection for my standards. To be fair, I really love all of the Heisei seasons but Fourze is definitely in my top 7 probably.

one cool thing I noticed about the Fourze driver is that it has the gimmicks and form of a Hesei era belt. But it is described to function like a Showa era driver, like how the typhoon takes in wind power this belt takes in cosmic energy.
Well thanks to your videos I decided to get into Kamen Rider so I started with a Kamen Rider you haven't covered yet so I can do a blind watch Ex-Aid and so far I'm sucked in metaphorically and Literally because by far this season is becoming my first season for Kamen Rider though I will admit I am gonna be interested in 2 you covered earlier Wizard and Build later on after I finish Ex-Aid

Plus it was the first show I watched sort of blind since I knew some plot points prior to watching it but I was still surprised by some of the other plot points, it’s cool
This is still the only long-form televised series I’ve finished and entirely because the cast is so likable and lighthearted. Gentaro is literally the best guy ever.
Fourze may not be the greatest season but it was the dhow that got me into kamen rider. So for that reason it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Go-Busters ignored in the Super Hero Taisen... and then again in their own VS Movie... which was used as a basis for the Special Episode Crossover for Beast Morphers
I just finished this show and loved it. I would love it if they did a reunion special, but sadly I don’t think that will happen since Yuki’s actress left her talent agency to join her family in a religious cult called Happy Science. Now a days only doing productions for them sadly.
The story of the kamen rider statue is why I tell people about the show. Because kamen rider is not just important for entertainment history but also important for real world history
11:05 JK is also the shortened form for joshikousei (high school girls), so Jake is secretly a girl?! jk (my tsukkomi side here triggered so yeah) 12:34 Gundam it, Kamen Rider!
I just started with Kamen Rider and started fourze and I think I did it right. It's just about being good. And also I'm a girl who grew up on high school musical and disney channel
I’ve only just gotten into Kamen Rider a few months ago, and quickly grew to love it. Fourze, however was definitely hard to get into; It just didn’t mesh with me. However after hearing Austin’s testimony on this, I’ll gladly give it another chance.
I feel like Wizard was where they _tried_ but failed to keep the number theming going. And Ex-Aid was where they completely said "no, number theory ain't real"
When I started watching this show a year ago I didn't enjoy it that much, high school media *specifically like Fourze* isn't my forte so seeing a Kamen Rider show a with that setting didn't give me much hope it'd be good "oh it's just W and OOO, but in a high school setting", "oh Gentaro is too childish" "the Fourze suit is so stupid" "this show is too formulaic" Sitting on it for a bit and picking it back up, it's still not anywhere near my favorite season, but it does have a ton of charm, and positive energy. Gentaro reminds me of Godai, basically just living to see people around him happy and pushing the supporting cast to be better people by befriending them, the show is formulaic maybe but it's easy to follow and has very good character focus, and the Meteor storm and Cosmic states arks, are some of my favorite arks in the franchise. Plus what it did for the viewers at the time is respectable. I do still think there should've been an episode where Gentaro can't befriend someone and he learns he has to deal with that, I know that Fourze was supposed to cheer up people through the friendship aspect, but it's good for kids to learn that you can't please everyone (as a kid I learned that the hard way)
Fun fact about Gokaiger: before the earthquake of 2011 the show was only going to have actors from post Gaoranger but afterwards actors from across the history of the franchise came to join in the celebration of the franchise's anniversary as a sign of solidarity

Go-Busters ignored in the Super Hero Taisen...
and then again in their own VS Movie...
which was used as a basis for the Special Episode Crossover for Beast Morphers
This makes me buy cosmic switch thanks, fourze always a favourite.
12:35 That explains the new variant
we need a fourze and guren Lagan crossover
Didn't you already make this?
SO APPARENTLY I MANAGED TO BE FIRST YEET
Yes he did but the video got copyrighted
I just finished this show and loved it. I would love it if they did a reunion special, but sadly I don’t think that will happen since Yuki’s actress left her talent agency to join her family in a religious cult called Happy Science. Now a days only doing productions for them sadly.
56:31 the space station is inspired by daitetsujin 17 and yeah those two series I'm currently being whacthing
The story of the kamen rider statue is why I tell people about the show. Because kamen rider is not just important for entertainment history but also important for real world history
11:05 JK is also the shortened form for joshikousei (high school girls), so Jake is secretly a girl?! jk (my tsukkomi side here triggered so yeah)
12:34 Gundam it, Kamen Rider!
I just started with Kamen Rider and started fourze and I think I did it right. It's just about being good. And also I'm a girl who grew up on high school musical and disney channel
Power of friendship for the win.
If you think about it, Shun is basically the flash Thompson of fourze
The show's head writer being Gurren Lagann's explains why I got into this show so quickly, despite being goofy ASF.
37:41 if you look at this super 1 tells sky rider to move a bit
To me a true kamen rider is someone who uses their power to protect others rather than just themselves.
People fighting in a quarry pretty much sums up tokusatsu.
*saw fourze* .... *crys sheads happy tears*
When I started watching this show a year ago I didn't enjoy it that much, high school media *specifically like Fourze* isn't my forte so seeing a Kamen Rider show a with that setting didn't give me much hope it'd be good "oh it's just W and OOO, but in a high school setting", "oh Gentaro is too childish" "the Fourze suit is so stupid" "this show is too formulaic"
Sitting on it for a bit and picking it back up, it's still not anywhere near my favorite season, but it does have a ton of charm, and positive energy. I do still think there should've been an episode where Gentaro can't befriend someone and he learns he has to deal with that, I know that Fourze was supposed to cheer up people through the friendship aspect, but it's good for kids to learn that you can't please everyone (as a kid I learned that the hard way)
Also I'm one of the two people who likes Meteor Storm
Infact Meteor Storm >>>>>>>> Cosmic states, fight me
never thought May'n sang for Kamen Rider at some point in time
Correct me if I'm wrong, Fourze is currently the last time Kamen Rider Shin had actual dialogue, if you can call his noises dialogue.
W ooo fourze movie war end game
One of my favourite riders
Uchuu-KITAAAAAAAA!!!!!
most likely the fire extinguisher can shoot flames because of burn lines for forest fires
Pretty dope to know the dude from megadeth jumped on KR track.
38:49: Line to live for. Also where is that quarry?
Can't wait for the ex raid history video
