I’m so glad I came across your channel. Love your natural technique of doing nails. I’ve gone through my nail stash and got rid of all gel polish that must be cured with lights. I’m a big fan of OPI and Essie products. Thank you for sharing your awesome talent. May you continue to be blessed and prosperous. Happy New Year’s 2022.
Enjoyed the video and loved the color too . I don’t remove my cuticles but you taught me the the “white stuff” is the cuticle ! I must purchase one of the nail oils you recommend .I’ve been using botanicals face oil on my nails ,but I think I need to change now . Have a great New Year !👍😉
I agree that shade looks better with 3 coats. Very nice manicure. I am still on the fence about Infinite Shine’s top coat. I wish OPI would improve it or give further instruction.
@@TheSalonLife Thank you for responding, I’m a nail technician also, and the ones I’ve tried are either smooth and not very lint free, I’ve ordered a few different packs so will see when it arrives, im uk based.
Anna, Do you conclude that using the LED lamp curing helps drying the polish and will you always use it with OPI Infinite Shine from now on? How long do your clients stay after you finish the manicure service to make sure the polish is dry enough for them to handle things like car keys? I've almost given up wearing polish because of the inevitable dents in my manicures even when I let the polish dry between coats. It's so frustrating! Happy New Year to you and Mr. Salon! Edit: someone commented down below and made a contribution to your channel. How can I do that? I'm not wanting to join Patreon but I would like to make a contribution.
Hi Susanne! I think I will make a video comparing opi infinite shine in 2 coats with one hand dried with the help of a lamp and the other one not. Right now yes, I would add the lamp because why not. But we will see if there is a difference in drying, shine and wear when I compare it side by side. Thank you for asking to contribute ❤️ We have a link for a one time donation in the description box below the video. Let me get the link :). Thank you :)
Ps. After the oil/cream the client leaves and I just tell them to be careful for 1 hour because it takes that long for the normal polish to dry. I do use Dazzle Dry a lot (mostly) in my salon because that polish really dries in 5 min, also on the feet. Clients can put their shoes on after polish and 10 min foot massage.
@@TheSalonLife I have watched dozen of manicure tutorials and no one ever explained the way you did about the cuticle etc. Which drill kit will you recommend?
Quick question. Seeing as you test a lot of products. What do you think of the non wipe gel top coats? would it be ok to use on any gel brand? Do they last and are still shiny?
Hi :) I'm not a fan of non wipe top coats. They tend to be brittle and chemically they are not that great, has to do with allergies or something. I just don't like the way they perform. They also tend to yellow more quickly. I believe it's best to stick to full lines when it comes to gel polish including the lamp. So brand A base coat, brand A color, brand A top coat and brand A lamp.
If you’d like I can send you the audio or make a unlisted video with just the music so you can listen to it. Let me know :) Ps. I also suffer from anxiety so I can totally relate.
🎉Happy New Year Mr. & Mrs. Salon Life🎉

That was an excellent video. Happy new year.
Thank you Sandra! Happy New Year to you too 🥰
Can I ask what is the gauze you use for cleansing the nail plate with? i can’t seem to find one like it
Hi Marina, If this is being done in a home setting you could just use a towel. :) - MSL

@@TheSalonLife How can I make a contribution?
Hi , if possible is there anyway you can tell me the song in the background? It made my anxiety go away
Hi Honey! Its called "Drifting at 432 Hz" Unicorn Heads. 432 Hz music is thought to decrease stress...
@@TheSalonLife Thank you , It totally worked 😊

Happy New Year! I hope this is a wonderful year for you both. I'm not a fan of Infinite Shine. Not super shiny and it chipped quite fast.
