Good morning Richard, congratulations on getting your maize off without too much hassle. Rain held off just long enough for you. You have managed it all very well and its essential to have a good and reliable contractor in an awkward autumn like this, well done all around. Definately worth the aggravation though as it can easily mean another 2 to 3 litres per cow minimum per day, hope it analyses ok, it looked quite a reasonable crop and hope its a case of quality not quantity. Now to just concentrate on settling the cows in for the winter and getting the best from both the silage and maize. I m sure there are plenty of other dairy farmers out there wishing they were similar including my neighbour who hasn t done his yet. Just a simple message to the general public, please be patient with farmers trying to get theirs in on the roads especially with the mud created, its very difficult and no one wants any unnecessary harm or distress. Oh yes, by the way,all landrovers should sound like that, they mean business!
I cannot imagine what a stressful time you have had. The weather alone has been so horrible, but add in all the other things you have to deal with and it is a lot. Glad you got the maize in.❤

I've noticed as a casual observer of maize that crops don't seem as high as they used to be. Are the varieties now designed to be shorter?

Why do you want him to have more subscribers? He's been vlogging for over 10 years and knows how he wants to manage his channel.

Interesting vblog, especially now the weather is getting worse with flooding 😢 Don't fracture your teeth on the pork scratchings 😂
Do you have enough corn for the cows for the winter? I think next year you should do another field I think you’re gonna be short
