I use the wather stone it's never wrong 😅 Stone is wet Rain Stone is dry. Not raining Shadow on ground. Sunny White on top. Snowing Can't see stone. Foggy Swinging stone. Windy Stone jumping up and down. Earthquake Stone gone. Tornado
Early june , standing water everywhere here in Belgium. Maybe 40% of the fields haven't seen a tractor this year. Only half of first cut grass is harvested , other half is rotting in the water. Maïze and potatoes , the same story , about half is in the ground. Hoping for a dry period the next 14 days .
Your right on dates Richard I have said before my Dad was born and raised on a farm and that was around 1895 and Grandad had Horse Drawn Plough and hay making involved the whole family plus extra workers and all had to be feed by Grandma who not only did the milking by hand but the the food preparation as well while the rest of them was out in the fields they really worked their socks off in those days.🧐
Morning funky farmer, what amazes me is the amount of money that’s invested in machinery just to collect a bit of grass, I know there’s a lot more to it but that’s what it looks like on the face of it. I wonder how many months the grass spreader/twirly machine is sat doing nothing or does it have another use Anyway great video 👍
you wouldn't want too much rain on your fields whilst your doing your silage they would soon turn into a mud bath.......the soil is still wet and soon as it rains it doesn't seem to be able to absorb any more. we've been doing some round bales and when you un-hitch the trailer to load the bales up the drawbar skid sinks into the ground so i've had to put a block of wood under the skid and when you pick the block up its dripping wet from the moisture in the soil
Good morning Richard and Harry, If nothing else you have a hell of a lot of grass , And there is Harry carrying a box 📦 around the field bless him but I did have a chuckle I just hope all goes well for you, Right you take care of yourself and stay safe. 🚜🚜🛻⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍❤️
rich Ktwo are english but readrock now own them its a K Two curve trailer they also make another silage trailer called the compactor its a Push trailer holds way more than standerd Awesome vid by the way
I don't just use one app I use multiple apps aswell as weather models to get an idea of what's to come. I also watch the met office 10 day trend and deep dives as they give me an idea of what's to come. In fact weather forecasters like the met office don't just use one weather model to forecast the weather they use multiple weather models and they take several readings of data a day. Don't forget that the weather is so unpredictable at this time of year due to there not being a strong jet stream so the weather can change very quickly.
Weather apps!!!! Who'd have them!! All of them seem to be the same; frequently inaccurate even when they are all saying different things. One of my daughter-in-law who comes from as fishing community in north of Scotland says that the app the fishermen reckon is the least inaccurate is the BBC one. From what I can make out that's probably the case.
K two trailers went bust few months ago Richard money issues do redrock engineering northern Ireland 🇮🇪 baught the k two factor and company regards from South Ireland 🇮🇪 viewer
Not impressed with the uneven flow of grass coming out of the spout or the harvester driver's lack of skill filling trailers!.....so sorry😢 isn't K-two now folded?

A few more trailers wouldn't go amiss.
Surprised Harry didn’t go a run round field in harvester to c it going properly
I recall seeing a painting of about fifty people (maybe more) with scythes working their way across a huge grass field, must have been contractors 😊
Afternoon Richard smart forager plus smart trailers great video ❤❤
Harry is making sure everything going fine and keeping dad updated 😂😂. Some cracking toy's out again....
That rake is some piece of kit 👍👍👍

Looking good Richard, nice crop of grass.
Love the wellies
Good job you managed to get the grass cut and also baled. We had rain today here in Worcester 😢
Good Morning Richard and Farmer Harry Cornock, nice video!!!!! 😉👌👍💪

Amazing. Such precision. xx
Looking good ❤
Cracking video as lads. Lovely to see a bit of blue
It is good to see the grass going in to the silage clamp.
I use the weather channel, that seems to be the best I use I would say 70% of the time it’s fine.
Nice silage kit in that outfit 👍
I tend to use Windy for weather forecasts.
You can't beat a piece of seaweed hanging on a rusty nail Richard if its wet rains coming, dry a nice day.😂
Good morning the funky farmer
Harry will be wanting his own trailer soon 😂 Brilliant video 💪🏻 🏴
I watch allot midlands storm chasers that’s pretty good not sure if you have one on fb near you my phone app pretty good too 😊
ed’s dads nickname is Tash or Dave but is actual name is Steve or Stephen if he’s broken something and he in trouble ha just to let you know
Love farm simulator 1894 , might be hard to play on an ABUCUS.😊
rich Ktwo are english but readrock now own them its a K Two curve trailer they also make another silage trailer called the compactor its a Push trailer holds way more than standerd Awesome vid by the way
Harry has really grown up
Accuweather seems pretty reliable. Give it a try!
Richard I had a friend who could never remember names so he called everyone Harold 😂

Good morning lads.thats some rake eh.
Looks like a decent crop.have a good day.positive vibes from Cornwall. Thanks.
Need to get harry a little 10 ton trailer for next season
There's an idea for a video series. "An Acre of Hay the old Fashioned Way"
Make the most of K two trailers as they have been bought out by Redrock machinery now
I use weather pro & weather radar rich
Farm manager keeping you straight, lol
👍
Hi richard what's you opinion on the news about young farmers events in recent days?
Sounds like a fun farm simulator. Or you could just play Stardew Valley!!!
A lot of the weather apps in the U.S. are just as useless. Days that say we aren’t to get rain and we end up with an inch.
There is a bit of £s in your field
Good show. When's Harry's birthday?
Thursday
@@thefunkyfarmer thanks
K Two and Warwick are no longer about 😭😭😭😭
Red rock bought k two they’ll still be made
@@eamon589 oh really that's good to hear

Well at the end of the year farming simulator 2025 is coming out look out for it
Not as good as Ed on it, spilling it a bit! Years ago would have got a rollicking about that.
Yep my pet hate….
We use METCHECK or the BBC👍
Sounds like the rake has a dry bearing, and the forager needs new knifes.🤔
its a tedder not a buck rake.
👀🙄🐾👍
