    I have autoimmune disease so the carnivore way is the best. I’ve heard people say that they can’t afford to eat so much meat but buying boxed , packaged foods is a massive waste of money. Buy meat in bulk and you can save a ton of money over time. The first thing I stopped was sugar and that alone made me feel like I had a new lease on life. New sub and I enjoy watching you both 🥓🥩🍳

    • @carnivorecouple

    I think its pretty important to note that snacks are not supposed to be part of the carnivore diet. I learned that when you are hungry you eat a full meal...to the point.of comfortably full..then you dont eat again until you are actually hungry.. which for me was a long time.. my appetite went way down when i started getting the right fuel. Snacks should be avoided as you stillneed to break bad habits and learn to listen to your real hunger cues..not habits of snacking

    • @carnivorecouple
      @carnivorecouple  8 місяців тому +22

      I agree that once you’ve transitioned into ketosis and are adapted to the carnivore diet that snacks shouldn’t be a part anymore. However, from my personal experience, during the transition part and weaning from old habits it helped to use snacks especially if I didn’t have the time to make an entire meal. But definitely agree with you, the goal is to only eat solid meals. 👍 We could have went in my depth about that in the video. Thanks for your comment.

      @@carnivorecouple Not arguing..just sharing my experience. I went full bore from the get go. I wanted to lose 20 pounds ..from 155 to 135..Maybe a bit more..and more importantly lose the inflammation in my joints from my active lifestyle. By going hard from the off..I experienced immediate results ..within 2 days I could feel my tummy flatter and my joints much soothed. I am sharing this as an alternative to the slowly slowly softly softly approach. If you want to see the big change..just go.for it. My diet was not soo awful before..just too much carbs apparently. I never got keto flu.. I did need electrolytes..made my own

      Steakandbuttergal snacks, and she also said you should transition and not go full carnivore to start because of digestion. I think everyone should do what they can how they can and not criticize other people for how they do it.

    • @SunnyDays00
      @SunnyDays00 8 місяців тому +4

      @@AliciaGilbert180 no one did criticize ... I think hearing the option to go full blast and not be afraid of the transition is valuable. Some people have lots of weight to lose and lots of health problems and bad relationship with food. Not all.of us are in that category. So we can skip the steps of those who need to break their bad habits and patterns... simple concept.. if you are able to handle the advanced class..don't think it's mandatory to go through all the beginner classes..

    • @pat4005
      @pat4005 7 місяців тому

      Not sure what you mean.
      There is really nothing "extra" to do.
      The electrolytes suggestion is the only important one, (and that is only really necessary when you first start out), because your body will be getting rid of all the excess water it is holding in the tissues.
      The water leaving will take some minerals with it, but everyone is affected differently, if at all.
      If you can afford to buy grass fed/ grass finished beef, and eggs from pastured chickens, you will most likely be getting the minerals you need (as opposed to eating grain-fed beef and chicken, along with their eggs, etc.)
      After your tissues get rid of that excess water they are holding, then that problem will diminish.
      To put it in perspective, even if you were just eating a "regular" diet of random foods, you'd have seasonings, gravies, salad dressings, sauces, snacks and munchies, desserts, etc., and ALL of those things will have lots of sodium and some other minerals if you are lucky, anyway.

    I am going to attempt carnivore. Have a question, can I eat pan fried pork belly everyday?

      Yep. Be sure to use butter or beef tallow. Don’t use any seed oils. I’d recommend eating beef and eggs as the core of your diet.

    Great video. I feel like artificial sweetners. I think I will use regular sauces while I transition. Good idea with the sauces! THANKS!
